Reverend Jeremiah Wright is talking again. After a period of self-imposed media exile, the Wright Reverend gave an interview to Bill Moyers, which airs tonight. In it, he suggests that his treatment was unfair, and that his words have been taken out of context. As Moe notes, ABC News has provided that "context" for some of his most controversial remarks.
Reading the portion Moe highlights leaves me with a question:

For every one Tiger Woods, who needs to get beat, at the Masters, with his cap, blazin’ hips playing on a course that discriminates against women. God has his way of bringing you up short when you get too big for your cap, blazin' britches.
I grant you, I'm not at the height of hip, or even blazin' hip, but I've not found this colloquialism or slang in Google or anywhere else. When I read that I just had to wonder ... what does it mean? I felt like this guy:

Reverend Wright says a lot of things I don't understand, but only in the conventional sense of not knowing how the blazin britches someone can think like him. But this time is different. Then it finally dawned on me ...

"cap blazin" should be "CauBlaAsian." The racist rev is insulting Tiger's made up word to describe his racial heritage. Oh, if only Tiger had insulted his Asian mom and thrown her under the box as a "Typical Asian." Then the racist rev would love him like he does Barry. Not sure what the hip thing is all about.
As for God punishing Tiger, let's see, adored by loving parents, #1 in the sport you love, billionaire, married to gorgeous bikini model and celebrating the birth of your 1st child...hey, God, I could use some punishment like that..

He's saying that Tiger is immodest in his clothing, strutting his stuff for money like someone in a hip-hop video, I think ... as if he makes so much money (way more than a comrade needs) because of his appearance.
