Ahem ........ it's almost 1 and 1/2 years before the election. 98% of America is not interested ........ understandably.
I think we're probably looking at a Fred Thompson/Mitt Romney ticket marching to the White House in 2008. I think that their strengths complement each other well - and it's a formula for holding the White House for the next 16 years and gaining full custody of the Supreme Court.
i used to enjoy Hugh's radio show but I can't stand his constant Romney worship.
Is this the same Alex Hammer who put up a link in every comment thread over at Race 4 2008 to a post arguing that it was bad that so many homemakers had donated to Romney because it showed that Mormons hated independent women and wanted to oppress them or something?

The post was written by another guy who kept arguing in the same threads that Mormons were cultists who refused to associate with non-Mormons.
I've got my bones with Romney but I can't fault his taste in enemies.
They that are with us are more than they that are against us.

John McCain will drop out, putting Mitt at 33%. Thompson and Newt won't run, putting Mitt at 61%. Seeing this Mitt explosion, the candidates still in single digits will drop out, putting Mitt at 69%. Seeing mitt so far in the lead, the undecided will break for Mitt, putting him 82%. South Carolina voters won't vote for a New York liberal in drag, so this putt Mitt at 102%.
The numbers don't add up, but Mitt is a force of nature.
