Oregon conservatives get serious

Oregonian conservatives have unveiled an important new initiative, the Conservative Majority Project.

Led by Rob Kremer and Jared McKinney, the organization will be investing money in races with good conservative candidates who can win.

Electorally, Oregon is a bit of a Democratic wasteland. With hard-left Steve Novick's battle with Jeff Merkeley for U.S. Senate Dem nomination stumbling over staff misadventures (try Another ethical scandal plagues Novick campaign), now is a good time for conservatives to consolidate their base.
