His kibitzer warned him 23 years ago about the possible repercussions of joining his church. Senator Obama has often referred to Reverend Wright as his Spiritual mentor and role model. Outside of his mother and wife it's Wright that has been the closest to him. He is his father figure or at least it seems that way.

I sometimes wonder if liberals are just simply naive or are they truly closeted communists. Whatever the answer is it can't be denied that all liberals share in common a deep affection for Che Guevara. Today in America you can buy Che Beer , Che T-shirts, & if that doesn't satisfy your craving for Che you can always go eat at the restaurant where all the waiters are dressed up like Che. Che's famous poster adorns more college dorm rooms than any other in history it even out sells Elvis's posters. Then there is the Che statute that you can get your picture taken with.

I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of William F. Buckley . He had a wisdom that inspired many. William F. Buckley was truly a man of his convictions. He will be remembered for his integrity and courage. No doubt about it William F. Buckley will be sorely missed. William F. Buckley was a true American Patriot who firmly believed in God, Country, and love of family.

Below is a 35 year old Newspaper article with a then just released POW named John McCain chastising two of America-hating's most famous coward's. The 36 year old McCain blasts Ted Kennedy and Jane Fonda for their supporting the enemy and causing the torture of American POW's.

McCain's credibility can be pitted against that of Jane Fonda. The most vitriolic anti-war activist whose visits to Hanoi caused torture of some prisoners. She said "they are hypocrites and liars" for their stories of mistreatment. This they clearly are not. They are brave patriots who suffered more than they would have otherwise because people not worthy to be called their countrymen, like Fonda, were not on their side.

Where are the usual suspects? High-profile civil-rights leaders such as Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson have been noticeably absent from the racially divided City of Lima , Ohio . On 1/4/08, a Lima Ohio SWAT team invaded the home of 26 year old Tarika Wilson an innocent woman shot and killed her, and shot her one-year-old son. The infant lost one of his fingers due to the shooting. Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have also been conspicuously silent of this tragic occurrence.

I'm a 45 year old life long member of GOP yet I'm also 100% Libertarian. You might call me a Moderate Libertarian Republican. I support the war on terror because you can only gain peace thru strength so obviously I do not support Ron Paul. In fact I blame him for inflicting great damage on Libertarianism. While some in the Libertarian movement are very pleased that our ideas are finally getting out there on center stage I'm not at all happy with the situation indeed Mr. Emanuel is 100% correct about the problem being the messenger and not the message itself.
