How About Selling ME a Z Visa?

The image above was scanned from the notice of action (action, yea right…) document we received back from the Department of Homeland Security and US Citizenship and Immigration Services last week regarding my wife’s application for citizenship. Can you see what is wrong with this picture? Take a look at the processing lead time, that’s right, it says 450 days! Just think, in 450 days we will be notified that we have been scheduled for an appointment that I am sure that will also be set in the indeterminable future.

You think this is bad? HA! After she is granted citizenship my wife has plans to bring her sister to the United States, guess what the wait will be for this process? Seven years. That’s right, the UCIS service center in Texas where these types of issues are handled is still dealing with applications from the 1990’s. There must be a better way of going about getting our family member to the United States.
Well apparently there soon will be. According to this information sent to Redstate.com by the White House, criminal aliens have been granted most-favored status now and can actually forego this waiting period by paying a couple thousand dollars.
(1) “Hello, my name is Miguel and I am an illegal” (2) here is my money I collected tax free while working illegally in your country (3) now where’s my brand new all-legal Z-Visa? Now that’s much easier than waiting seven or eight years and spending roughly the same amount of money in time, fees, registrations and documentation to do the same thing legally.
My wife and I would like to get in on this action.
Dear White House,
Would it be possible that I could buy one of these Z-Visas for one of my relatives? She has agreed that we could call her a criminal if that is the kind of quality you are looking for new immigrants in our country. If we have to, I guess I could fly her to Mexico and have her walk across the border like all the rest of the illegals, but wouldn’t it be easier to just call her a criminal?

The advocates of giving illegal aliens amnesty, PLUS reward for entering illegally, are trying to say it's not "amnesty" because the law breakers have to pay a $5000 fine to get their Z-Visa.
Try selling Z-visas on eBay to those suckers dumb enough to apply for immigration without breaking our laws - it would go for a far higher price than the $5000 discount price being offered only to law-breakers. The difference between the market price, and the discount price for law-breakers, is the size of the reward for breaking our laws - what kind of Orwellian newspeak does it take to call that reward a "fine"?
For the record, I favor amnesty for for most illegal aliens - no fine, no jail, for their prior illegal presence, if they refrain from future violation of our laws by going home now.
Amnesty for a car thief is saying give back the stolen BMW now and we won't put you in jail. Saying he gets to legally keep his stolen BMW by paying a $5000 "fine" is more than amnesty, it's a reward.
that the government is going to streamline the process that currently moves at the pace of a glacier (just less efficiently) to make it easier for those who wish to immigrate legally. But you are right, they have no intention of reform and in fact it will just only get worse for those who are already mired in this process when immigration officials become flooded by millions of Z visa requests.
My sister in-law is going to be told she needs to wait seven years to come to America because we are to busy rewarding the criminals who break our laws to deal with sincere and legal immigrants.

to all friends and family back in the motherland who may want to immigrate to the United States that they ought to sneak in illegally and wait for amnesty... instead of applying and going through the front door.
To think that I and my family waited over ten years, with innumerable visits to the INS, paperwork upon paperwork, hiring attorneys, blah blah blah, when we could have just snuck in and gotten to the same place....
This bill might be a slap in the face of Americans, but it is a dagger in the back for those of us who waited in line to become an American. Legal immigrants who support this bill are simply brainwashed zombies of Leftists and their handmaidens in the media.

If your loved ones already have tourist or non-immigrant visas, they could come over and stay, but they would need proof that they were here before Jan 2001. That could be falsified, but Immigration already would have the date of entry, because they arrived legally by air. I am willing to bet that people who are caught falsifying information when applying for Z-visas will be among those illegals who are disqualified from ever receiving them.
The other ways of "sneaking in" such as walking over the Mexican border, are extremely dangerous. Hundreds of thousands of desperate people may try and succeed, but thousands also die on the way. Disease is the biggest problem. I have known people who succeeded and at least one person who failed and I would not advise it for anyone who can make a living in their own country.
Your point, that this is not fair to people who have taken the long legal route to immigration is valid, but if you are seriously considering telling loved ones to come illegaly, I urge you to reconsider, for their safety.

You missed the boat so to speak.
Should have just had your wife, sister, maiden Aunt, and any other relative just come over on a "Tourist" Visa and overstayed the visa. Maybe take up flying lessons (landings optional).
That way they could claim that they were here before January 2007 under the samnesty plan.
