Just hours after he replaced Elliot Spitzer as the Governor of New York State, David Paterson, was answering questions about his own fornication:
In a series of interviews in recent days, David Paterson told the New York Daily News that he had started an affair with "a woman other than my wife" in 1999 and continued it for two or three years.

If we really want to change our government then voters ought to have the highest of moral standards for their elected officials whether they be Dem or Rep! If a man can not run his own household well then why should we give him the opportunity to run our government! Is this difficult to do in todays times, well yes, but nothing is really going to change until the American people demand it.
Did he abuse his station and (redacted) the help?
Did he break the laws that he had sworn to uphold?
If the answers to the above are both "no", I don't see this as any of my business. He's not creating a hostile workplace environment, he's not busting people for doing on the weekends what he does on the weekends...

Enlighten me again how being the nation's morality police for elected Democrats is a good thing for Republican in general when Republican politicians are capable of the same sort of shenanigans due to the fact that they are also fallible human beings?
