If you can’t understand why the estimable congressman’s campaign never took off, and indeed never had a chance, then maybe you’re completely immune to the notion that leadership of a great nation requires more than an appeal to reason and issues. Even if it didn't, Hunter would have been rather far to the right for even the mass Republican electorate, but, really, you can’t listen to him for longer than fifteen seconds without realizing he’s no president.
