I can only assume that Massachusetts Governor Deval "Together We Can!" Patrick (D) is sending a candy-gram to his Empire State colleague right about now. Or perhaps a StripperGram would be more appropriate, eh?
Here's a random sampling of stories making news in the Bluest State of the Union over the last few days...
Arraignment postponed for Patrick aide charged with sexual assault - sort of speaks for itself, but I have some more on the story here.

Murray cuts political ties to lobbyist - gosh, you mean that Democrats have relationships with those icky lobbyist types? Who knew?
Study: Casino plan overstates jobs - sure, let's drop some casinos into Massachusetts. Folks, this is the alpha-and-omega of Coupe Deval's "jobs growth" plan for The Commonwealth. The Puritans must be spinning in their graves!

The Culture of Corruption™, it's evidently not just for Republicans anymore!
"No compromise with the main purpose, no peace till victory, no pact with unrepentant wrong." - Winston Churchill

As a resident of New York I would like to send a note to Gov. Spitzer; Please have your resignation on my desk by tomorrow morning.
Oh never mind, just get out!
A government big enough to give you everything you want is strong enough to take everything you have - Thomas Jefferson
So I guess we won't be hearing anything much about Patrick's woes, will we? At least not for a while.
How about the irony, though. Republicans always get the book thrown a them by the Press because they are do-gooder hypocrites. Finally, a sanctimonius Democrat is getting the hypocrite label.
"An unarmed man can only flee from evil, and evil is not overcome by fleeing from it.“--Jeff Cooper. From Bill Coffey's collection of military quotations
Governor Spitzer is a Progressive. The law doesn't count in his case because he does our society such a favor by being the swell human being that he is.
"I believe we must adjourn this meeting to some other place." - The last recorded words of Adam Smith.
