Muslims react violently. Big surprise.

"VATICAN CITY (Reuters) - Al Qaeda militants in Iraq vowed war on "worshippers of the cross" and protesters burned a papal effigy on Monday over Pope Benedict's comments on Islam, while Western churchmen and statesmen tried to calm passions.

Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei joined a chorus of Muslim criticism of the head of the world's 1.1 billion Roman Catholics, calling the Pope's remarks "the latest chain of the crusade against Islam started by America's (George W.) Bush."

Why should any one in their right mind refer to Islam as a Religion of Peace. The more I see that their responses to stimuli that upsets them are violent and murderous the more I feel that this "religion" is an anethema to peaceful human existance. And as I have stated in my previous blog the Koran has ample evidence to lend religous credence to Khamenie's and his ilk statements.

Why should the world community attempt to peacefully negotiate with this community of thugs and killers. I am not aware of one "main stream and respected" muslim declare that violence is not the solution. The continued hatred and violent eruptions of the Islamic world show that they do not wish to coexist peacefully and equally but desire world wide domination or the death of all "Followers of the Cross"...

This would be sad if it weren't so laughable. The Pope tactfully stated that the Muslim religion tended toward violence.

In response, Muslims burn effigies in the street, kill a nun, and call for the Pope's execution.

They prove the Pope's point very nicely.

This is just more evidence of what President Bush has been saying the past few weeks. We are in a war against violent Islamic Fascism. Bush quote, "...by defeating the terrorists on the battlefield and defeating their hateful ideology in the battle of ideas."
