By drothgery
I really didn't expect it from him, but in the last week or so he's come out with a set of policy proposals that make a lot of sense, and seems to be finding clever ways of backing down from previous bad positions.
He came out in favor of offshore drilling, and said he'd be open to reconsidering ANWR, because the facts on the ground have changed.
He called out Obama's Carteresque 'tax the oil companies and pray for the magic alternative energy fairies' energy policy.

I'm not particularly sure why any GOP candidate should take the advice of some random computer geek in San Diego, and I'm not exactly a hard-core Romneybot. But I tend to gravitate to the smartest-sounding plausible center-right guy, so I've been supporting him (or at least I'll probably mail in my absentee ballot in the CA primary with Mitt's name checked on Tuesday). So I've been trying to figure the best path to get my guy to win the nomination.
So here's my simple plan: Win Florida.
