To our leader: you left a hole in our lives, you will be missed. What you taught us will not be forgotten.
To the Fredheads, come on in. To the non-Fredheads -- this memorial is not for you. Kindly get lost, or come in and be quiet.
And for the fans, a last hurrah:
When terrorists get to the afterlife, they'll find that none of their 72 women are still virgins. Why? Because of Fred Thompson.
In a Fred Thompson administration, there will always be room to disagree with him. That room is called the morgue.
But we'll see. I don't see it as likely at all that he'd want to be the VP candidate, on the cabinet as AG, or anything else.
Some other, Newt-like role? Hmmm, maybe.

And with that we say goodbye to the Fred08 campaign.
I'll say that for the Fred08 campaign, but not for the man. Even when he moved on to the acting career we need to remember he didn't stop working in politics. Hopefully he will do that again in some capacity.
I'll be keeping an eye out, though... Thompson's work isn't done, and I look forward to seeing what's next.
Your principles and stand on the issues will live one in your supporters. We will be keeping the candidate's feet to the fire.

I was trying to see if I could incorporate the IMAO theme onto my tag by tabbing over toward the right -- IOW without using another line. Didn't work. HTML resists tabs as we're used to them, Could perhaps be done as a table, but that's too much work, leads to other formatting issues. But I love that phrase:

I've been using this particular diary as my little sandbox for testing stuff out. Hah, get it? Pete the cat using a *sandbox*?
BWAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! OK, I'm better now.
Of course I've learned that testing in production is hazardous and unrecommended (and yet what programmer does not actually do that sometimes?). Among other things, it seems sometimes certain funny people *ahem* *cough* change my font colors and stuff. Tough room.

I think that using an empty div tag for the clear:both is what did it, but it wasn't clear from the view source.
The clear: both was fine. There was another div above your sig that was the problem.

There are several scenarios I could see him being a part of the more conservative Republican party.
