Posted at 11:27am on May 16, 2007 I am declaring for Congress against Ron Paul in Texas CD-14
By ericdondero
Good morning,
I am making this announcement on my favorite website RedState.com. Many of you here have urged me to take this course. And now, after last night's GOP Presidential debate, I've decided to move ahead with my plans.
I have spent the early morning scanning the major political blogs, and news sites. It's unanimous. Ron Paul got slammed by Rudy Giuliani last night for suggesting that we - the United States of America - are to blame for the attacks on 9/11. He even had the audacity to cite Osama bin Laden.

Posted at 10:37am on May 4, 2007 Federal Employees now publicly campaigning for Democrats
By ericdondero

Liberals have become so blatant about their support for Democrats that they are now even publicly displaying that support on the job site.
On Wednesday I was at the Seattle Regional Headquarters Post Office on 1st Ave. in Queens Anne. This is a very yuppy "up the hill" neighborhood, heavily gay and heavily "alternative" right outside of downtown. It's where the Supersonics' Key Arena is at, literally right across the street from the P.O.

Posted at 4:57pm on Apr. 7, 2007 Fred Thompson: "Fiscally Conservative/Socially Tolerant"
By ericdondero
by Eric Dondero
I welcome Fred Thompson into the race for the GOP Presidential Nomination. I've been a fan of his ever since the early 1990s.
We in the Republican Liberty Caucus viewed Thompson back then as one of us: Perhaps not a straight out libertarian, but certainly a libertarian-leaner.
In the early 1990s, the Tennessee Republican Party was in a State of War between Pro-Choice/Moderate/Libertarian Republicans versus the Religious Right. It was a rather bitter long drawn out battle too. Thompson was clearly on the side of the libertarians and Moderates. His Religious Right opponent in the GOP Primary in 1994 was a guy named John Bakkes. Thompson beat him 62 to 37 percent. But it was a hard-fought race with lots of criticism from Bakkes towards Thompson for his Pro-Choice/Socially Moderate views.

Posted at 5:54pm on Apr. 4, 2007 Democrats have become the Party of the Prudes
By ericdondero
by Eric Dondero
The Democrat Party has become the Party of the Nanny-State. Democrats from California to New Hampshire are introducing Nanny-state legislation in State Houses that would restrict civil liberties of average Americans.
A few weeks ago the Arizona State Legislature, thankfully, defeated a bill that would have outlawed the famous Big-breasted Mudflap woman emblem on trucks and other vehicles. The vote was 31 to 19. The bill was introduced by two Democrats. It was the Republicans who stood up in the House to strongly oppose the measure. Ironically, in introducing the legislation one of the Democrat sponsors claimed "it would protect family values."

Posted at 9:13am on Apr. 1, 2007 Support our Troops: Lower the Drinking Age to 18
By ericdondero
by Eric Dondero
You really want to confuse a Liberal? Liberals are all high and mighty. They think that they are supporters of civil liberties. They think they are the tolerant ones.
Bring up the issue of the Drinking Age with them, particularly for Military Guys.
First off, as we know Liberals "loathe" the Military. They don't want to give anything to Military Guys, or even acknowledge them, if they can help it.

By ericdondero
by Eric Dondero
There's an absolutely fascinating state by state analysis of how Rudy Giuliani plays state-to-state with a match-up against Hillary Clinton in US News & World Report (Feb. 23). It uses latest Survey USA poll numbers from the states. Barone looks at how Rudy Giuliani would do compared to previous Republican/Bush voting strength.

Posted at 9:53am on Feb. 19, 2007 Mormon Cabbie runs down two college kids in Nashville
By ericdondero
by Eric Dondero
Did I say "Mormon"? Dangnabbit!! I meant to say "Moslum". Pardon the typo above in the Subject line.
The correct tag for the story is "Moslum Cabbie runs down two college kids in Nashville." He got into a fight with them over religion, and just dang figured he'd run his cab over them. Kind of reminiscent of last year's SUV incident at the Univ. of North Carolina, where a Moslum (not Mormon) shouting "Allah Ahkbar" drove right through the center of the campus running down 8 college kids.

For how many weeks did the media report on the Columbine massacre in Colorado in the 1990s?
Two days out of the shooting in Salt Lake City that left 5 dead and 4 others clinging to life, and the story has completely escaped the headlines.
Nobody is reporting on it; Not Fox News, certainly not CNN or MSNBC, nor any print media. It's not even on the Drudge Report. The only ones reporting on the story are the Blogs such as Jihad Watch, Serbianna, a couple Israeli sites, World Net Daily, Michelle Malkin, Michelle Schussell and LibertarianRepublican. Additionally, Blog Talk Radio was the first to report on the Muslim connection last evening on both Freedom Fighters, and Libertarian Politics Live.

Hussein Obama versus Rudy Giuliani
by Eric Dondero
This is so exciting. We are about to witness the biggest contrast in ideology for President of the United States in our history.
One one side we have Hussein Obama. A guy who an IL Senate colleague of his said had a voting record "to the left of Mao Tse Tung." A guy who has a perfect 100 voting record from the Marxist ADA. A guy who attended a Madrassa in Indonesia as a child for 4 years and has an Islamic surname.

My former boss US Congressman Ron Paul is running for President in the Republican primaries. He recently went to the House Floor and gave a speech on the "Threat of NeoConservatism."
I resigned from his Staff after 12 years of service over the War in Iraq. I backed President Bush and supported the War in Iraq, and the War on Global Islamo-Fascism. My former boss Ron Paul is fiercely opposed to both. He's a non-intervenionist to the point of complete isolationism. He sees no threat from Islamo-Fascism and even downplayed the significance of 9/11.

This just breaking literally seconds ago...
United States Congressman Ron Paul, Republican of Texas, has officially filed paperwork for a Presidential Exploratory Committee.
This comes on the heels of two other libertarian Republicans recently announcing that they're interested in a Presidential race, as well: Hollywood Actor Michael Moriarty, and Las Vegas Sports Betting Oddsmaker Wayne Allyn Root.
