By Eyriq

I have seen a lot of good promotional pieces for Romney. There are tons of valid reasons to support the Man, especially if you share his conservative views. Doubts crop up still for many, and they just could not see placing him before such a proven quantity in Fred Thompson. This if ok, completely understandable. So, since the first sirens call fell of deaf ears (prominent endorsements by NR, HH, ect..) I have found one newer, fresher, and perhaps just of the variety that Fredheads need to hear. By Eyriq

Romney reacted yesterday to the news of Thompson's departure from the race.

He made a real contribution. He was probably the only other one in the field that focused on pulling together the old Reagan coalition, if you will, the conservative coalition,” Romney continued, “His leaving is sad for those who were big fans of his, but it probably helps my effort in terms of bringing together those Reagan coalition individuals.

Posted at 4:56pm on Jan. 11, 2008 Romney and the Winning Strategy of Losing

By Eyriq

A clear evaluation of Romney's performance to date reveals a campaign full of irony. Romney began campaigning with the intention of scoring a knockout punch to the early field and gathering the momentum he thought he'd need to challenge Rudy late. This strategy has failed, but in it's failure strange developments have occurred. Mitt has found himself with the clearest path to the nomination!

The primary has been boxed up prettily by the MSM , but are the goods they're selling matching reality? That is the big question and one of the reasons that these primary results may just catch them looking the other way.

Posted at 1:24pm on Dec. 31, 2007 Mitt Romney is the Clear Choice for Conservatives

By Eyriq

This is my first attempt at a blog entry and the reason I am posting is because there appears to be a need to articulate the strengths of a Mitt Romney nomination. Especially I think it is important to dispel the myth of Romney's "Un-Electability". So here it goes, let me know what you think.

Mitt Romney not only has a chance to win in the general election, he has the BEST chance to do so. The strength of the Republican Party is not found in its individual parts but in the combination of those parts. The Fi-Cons, So-Cons, and FoPo-cons united as Reagan fashioned them have given us three of the last four Presidential elections and will be needed to win in the upcoming election as well. That is why we need a nominee who can unite all three and solidify the republican base.
