Mike Huckabee was on MSNBC's Morning Joe and had some thoughts about Freds attacks.
Rush is right (well duh) - no one is attacking McCain and THEY HAD BETTER START! Not on age but on policy. But I could happily attack McCain on age. ;-)

from him that when he gets a challenged from a candidate he goes into personal attacks. First it was his rhetorical question about LDS theology in IA aganist Mitt and now this. I have a bad feeling if nominated he might say something this dumb aganist African-Americans, Bi-racial people, or Women in the general if questioned by Barack or Hill.
McCain '08
A possible reason Fred started whacking Huckabee over the head last night was that Huckabee is largely supported by social conservatives. McCain, I think, has mostly the support of the DefCons and FisCons that feel left out by Huckabee's platform. Through his attacks, Fred seems to be trying to assert himself as the viable social conservative alternative. Once he has their support, he can scoop up McCain supporters without having to lay a finger on McCain.
