Posted at 11:26pm on Sep. 5, 2007 Bullseye on Schumer
By Fight4TheRight
It's time. Actually, it way past time, for every Conservative in America to focus every ounce of energy on ousting Chuck Schumer from the U.S. Senate. Okay, so you can make an argument for a bullseye on the likes of Reid, Pelosi, Murtha, etc. but it is Chuck Schumer who has now set himself apart.
Here's part of what Schumer said about the performance of American troops in Al Anbar province:
" And let me be clear, the violence in Anbar has gone down despite the surge, not because of the surge. The inability of American soldiers to protect these tribes from al Qaeda said to these tribes we have to fight al Qaeda ourselves. It wasn't that the surge brought peace here. It was that the warlords took peace here, created a temporary peace here. And that is because there was no one else there protecting. "

By Fight4TheRight
Well, sports fans, the Left has successfully draped it's dark cloak of political correctness and American inhibition over the Little League World Series. Can you imagine anything more "American" than young American kids playing in the Little League World Series Championship?
Well, our kids DID win the World Championship over a very well-represented team from Japan, but to me, this victory showcases how low we have sunk in our embarassment of our Land and how we have coddled to the Left to help drive the United States of America into obscurity.

Posted at 1:53pm on Aug. 11, 2007 Bush - Four More Years?
By Fight4TheRight
President George W. Bush, if the Constitution allowed it, would win the 2008 Presidential Election and would begin his third term of the Presidency in January of 2009.
No, I haven't lost my mind. I give support to this claim in three different areas:
1. The American people, when it comes to electing a President in 2008, will look for two things above all - leadership and a strong stance on defense/terrorism.
2. Current polls show that the more "hawkish" of candidates are in the lead.
3. Surpassing healthcare, the economy, and immigration...the global war on terrorism will be the deciding factor in the 2008 election.

By Fight4TheRight
Okay, I'll admit it. I was a Bi-Centennial Baby. No, that doesn't mean I was born in 1976...it means I graduated from high school in 1976 and for you youngsters out there, that was a fairly big deal! Yes, there were celebrations and picnics and the high school prom was decorated in the stars and stripes, but at the same time, our Country was coming off some wounds from Vietnam and Watergate.
It was that year, that as a young man with little interest at all in politics, another young man penned a song. That song was "Suite Madame Blue" and was written by the lead singer of a band called Styx. "

By Fight4TheRight
The List of Senator Harry "The War is Lost" Reid's newest friends continues to grow:
Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN):
"In my judgment, the costs and risks of continuing down the current path outweigh the potential benefits that might be achieved," Lugar, R-Ind., said in a Senate floor speech. "Persisting indefinitely with the surge strategy will delay policy adjustments that have a better chance of protecting our vital interests over the long term."

Posted at 8:29pm on Jun. 19, 2007 What Has Happened to Us ?!
By Fight4TheRight
I've come to the conclusion that I have suddenly been cast in the 2007 remake of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." In the past three months, apparently while I was dozing, the American people were all abducted and replaced by some other form of life - at least it appears that way by some of the recent polls.
Just a number of weeks ago, a poll showed that upwards of 6 out of 10 Americans believed that President Bush knew of the 9/11 attacks prior to the event. And now, Gallup has it's latest Economy poll out that headlines:

Posted at 5:20pm on May 27, 2007 Memorial Day in Hell
By Fight4TheRight
Tomorrow is Memorial Day and I can't help but think what some of our fallen veterans from World War 2 would be saying today if they were here.
These were men who fought against the greatest evil this world had ever seen. Imagine those veterans of Normandy or Iwo Jima watching us now as we Americans put up with those who would characterize 9/11 as a government conspiracy! Imagine what those veterans would say...those same veterans who had seen the march of Nazism through Poland to Czechoslovakia to France before they even got the call to arms...imagine what they would say today as we Americans allow Iran to get a nuclear weapon, allow Hamas and Hezbollah to fire missiles upon Israel, allow Al Qaeda to invade Iraq, Somalia, Algeria, Spain, Pakistan, Thailand, etc.

Posted at 8:00pm on May 24, 2007 Where Is Their Resolve?
By Fight4TheRight
The coined phrase over the past six months when referring to Democratic Congressmen and Senators has been "Can I question their patriotism?"
Well, it is with tremendous sadness that I now ask the question, "Where is the resolve of the American people?"
Recently we've had to sober up to the polling that showed that shockingly high number of Americans who feel that President Bush had prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks, and now, in the latest New York Times poll, the following have been revealed:

By Fight4TheRight
Today, May 19th, is Armed Forces Day. A day where the American People can salute the unmatchable efforts of all of our men and women in uniform.
I, for one, will take a moment today to bow my head and pray for each and everyone one that serves this Country in the Armed Forces - past and present. And then, I will raise my head and smile and know, that because of them....today I am Free and I am Safe.

Posted at 12:00am on May 15, 2007 Why Just Clean the Bathroom?
By Fight4TheRight
That's right. If you're going to "clean (H)ouse", why just the bathroom? Why not spend the same energy, resources, coordination, and bravado cleaning up the entire place?
Cleaning up the corruption of GOP members on the Appropriations Committee, seems to me, akin to washing off the top of the microwave oven or scrubbing the bathroom floor before you entertain an entire household of guests on a Saturday night.
