Posted at 6:10pm on Dec. 21, 2007 Mitt Romney: The Right Man for our Party and our Nation

By FLHighLife

Seven months ago, I sent an email to my conservative friends explaining my decision to support Mitt Romney in the Republican Primary. I believe that the past seven months have served to validate the arguments presented in it -- namely, that Romney is the candidate who can best unite our party by appealing to social AND fiscal conservatives, that his conversion on the life issue was indeed genuine, and that he is the only conservative who can prevent us from nominating a pro-choice, radical moderate in Rudy Giuliani.

Posted at 12:36am on Dec. 15, 2007 Video: Sen. DeMint praises Romney's "innovative thinking with health care"

By FLHighLife

This video is about nine months old, but I feel it is very relevant to the recent diaries discussing "Romneycare."

In the video, Senator DeMint explains his endorsement of Gov. Romney, saying...

By FLHighLife

To be honest, this doesn't suprise me one bit.

Two questions remain to be answered: Will the average voter be surpried and, combined with the Bernie Kerik controversy, how can Giuliani reassure voters he can be trusted?

By FLHighLife

I've heard much discussion today of how Mitt's healthcare plan provides $50 abortions in Massachusetts. According to Erick's post, this was one of the main reasons why Mitt did not earn the NRLC endorsement.

Being a Romney supporter and life being my #1 issue, I wondered why I had yet to hear any mention of this despite keeping-up with pro-life and campaign news daily.

My immediate suspicion was that there was no credence to this claim as I had heard nothing of this and Mitt had not been asked about it.

I was right.

More below the fold...
