The Irresistible Force of Reality meets Pelosi's Immovable Idiocy

No freaking way she said this...

House Speaker Pelosi has spent her tenure as Speaker of the House cozying up with Bashar Assad, endlessly proclaiming defeat in Iraq (of our troops, not the murderous terrorist thugs) and outfitting the Hill with pretty flowers and organic foods with French names. But in this, she has well and truly flown the cuckoo's nest.

Well, the purpose of the surge was to provide a secure space, a time for the political change to occur to accomplish the reconciliation. That didn’t happen. Whatever the military success, and progress that may have been made, the surge didn’t accomplish its goal. And some of the success of the surge is that the goodwill of the Iranians-they decided in Basra when the fighting would end, they negotiated that cessation of hostilities-the Iranians."

Did you read that?! Holy bejeepers. I know that Ace and Hot Air are all over this, but...dude. Between this and Maxine Waters' awesome debacle, our "leaders" are more and more showing themselves to be not only sympathetic to the enemy, but are now openly hostile to the best interests of American sovereignty and propserity.

This has to stop. All along, we've been saying on the Right that our conservative leaders lack conviction to do anything except uphold the status quo. Well, here's their chance to show some stones and censure Speaker T2 for this outrageous, gross slap in the face to our troops, and to Maliki's incredible efforts this year to eliminate the terrorists and establish a true representative democracy.

I hate these people so hard it makes my eyes cry blood like Le Chiffre in Casino Royale.

This is borderline seditious, if not at least the most idiotic thing uttered by a politician since "Let them eat cake" (at least in the last week). Come to think of it...no, I won't go there. But dear, sweet Lord, how does the nation not rise up and swallow these idiots whole? At this point, I see no option but to get myself elected to Congress, join hands with the few conservatives left with some spine, and start raising hell. Jeff Flake, Jim DeMint and Jeb Hensarling will do for a start.

I cannot even see straight right now. I should be used to this kind of drivel, but this crosses every boundary of common sense and decency that I possess. Any further words fail...

This is precisely the kind of thing that I expect from the bug-eyed one.
