My blog at Redstate has been erased

By gamecock Posted in Comments (32) / Email this page » / Leave a comment »

There are only two entries left.

What gives?

Redstate did this last year too, causing me to lose much valuable material.

No warning either time.

Will my blog be restored?

I am writing this as a blog, as the Redstate technical support process is not working as well. As it hardly ever does.

What's up?

First, we had some diary/blog issues the last couple days, where people were submitting diaries which we could see but they couldn't. It seemed to work itself out, but you seem to be experiencing a bit of fallout. Let me tell you this, though: I just looked at your content, and you have ten solid pages of diaries and archived blogs here. They are here. I have just seen them. Frankly, I'm not positive why they're not showing up, much like the user blogs weren't a couple days ago, but trust me: they are here.

Second, feel free to use the contact tool to email me, rather than airing something out in the comments or in a diary. You and I have corresponded before on technical issues, and I trust that you found my responses to be pretty darn quick.

would be devastating! His writings are a national treasure, on the order of the US Constitution or the Declaration of Independence.

Albeit, a little harder to decipher!

the courts seem to have a hard time deciphering the constitution from time to time ;)

the contact for technical issues link is not working, so I used the editorial contact link and this.

Its just that this happened before, early last year before i had a personal blog and website and lost more than a year's worth of content here.

yes, you have always been supurb on technical issues

god bless

oh yeah, while on the subject, Erick said we were going to have the old comments tracking like we used to have

when will this occur?

Google gamecock and redstate then look for them while not logged in. If you are logged in you can't see them. I have the same problem.

I imagine they are working to clear this up. It is very difficult on production systems.

they would restore the 2005 GC content they lost too and they never did.

Did anyone else lose 2005 too?

I thought I had at least 2 pulitizers in there...

No by pliny

to capon. But I have the same problem, and thought I saw a pattern, noted here

of emasculation. I remain purposefully ignorant of such things and don't like bobbit jokes either!
