I got a wonderfull response on my initial post. Thank you Red State. I feel I should follow up.

What I did not say is that I was on probation for a misdamenor(sp) charge. I smacked a guy in the face after his innapropriate actions towards an openly gay/flamboyment friend of mine. Would have been nothing except I got a dui. I was sentenced to twelve days of turn myself in(tsi).

I will not rave about any injustice, instead I am constantly reminded about the quality of the corrections officers involved. I am guessing I make 4x what these guys do. Everything they do is actually with my safty as their main concern. This is an insanely hard job, these guys are tough.

Gosh, this lib hopes so. Why not have the smartest guy in the room run. He could destroy Hillabam in a debate, and he may have a fairly good chance against the Macain/Rudy/Mitch thingy. Perhaps I am longing for the democratic party that I actually believed in.

You can not(maybe) imagine the flood of feelings I have today. I broke the law in a heinous way. I may or may not have a drinking problem. Regardless today is day one of sobriety.

I come on this site as a liberal, and feel good about myself when I can participate with well thought out conservatives. I am proud of my beliefs. But when real personal failings happen, it makes me question so many things.
