Words to remember, words to consider now...

I am done. It is finished. It is over. I quit.

I have been told my desire to see my country defended is a fool's errand. That our war is LONG lost, was criminal in its origins, and holds no value for securing the safety and future security of my children and grandchildren, and further, that it actually endangers them to stand up against enemies who would see us dead or converted to a religion of intolerance and one that holds suicide as a means of eternal greatness.

I have been told being left alone to live my life with as little Governmental intrusion as possible was my right until the Government deemed it necessary to intrude just the same; from marriage being redefined to satisfy a constituency to citizenship being redefined to satisfy a constituency to allowing unborn babies to be killed to satisfy a constituency to allowing criminals who have come here to profit from my generosity be called "Americans" to satisfy a constituency to giving more of my hard-earned money to "Americans" who are deemed more in need than I to satisfy a constituency to being told I am allowed to defend myself with a gun that I am not allowed to have to satisfy a constituency.

I have been led to believe that my Commander in Chief is a criminal. I have been told that my Congress knows best what needs doing in my life. I have been expected to get on with my life and let them decide what is the best use of my money with no questions asked because they know far better than I the implications of my role in the greater community called "America."

Let us review what our Founders promised us, and which of these promises have since been broken, so we can better determine what the (expletive removed in deference to the posting guidelines) we need to DO about it now.

First this:

Can you say Affirmative action? Check.

that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Am I entitled to life? Roe v. Wade says no. Check.

Am I endowed with the right of Liberty? Can you say "Merry Christmas" in a Public School or Public venue? I thought not.

To pursuit of happiness, can you say "eminent domain?" "Death tax?" "Marriage penalty?"

I didn't consent to this. Did you? Were you asked about allowing 30 million illegal immigrants to be magically no longer illegal? I wasn't. Were you asked permission to levy taxes on a specific class of Americans because they had it to steal from moreso than other classes of Americans? I wasn't.

How much do you expect I am going to take before I will TAKE NO MORE? Why, in light of the fact that those who would kill me are NOT Americans, would I want to let them stay and call them Americans?

I am ready. Throwing tea in the Boston harbor these days will get you arrested and feed the mutant fish. That's not to say there is no way to stand up against the tyranny that has BECOME the United States Government. I stand up today, and I stand against it. And I refuse to accept any further intrusion and intervention and interruptions in my attempts to live by the same creed of my forefathers, whose descendants now throw off with frivolity and impunity, my rights and the recognition that they were to serve at MY pleasure. They throw it in my face as if I were some rube that doesn't recognize I am being taken...to the bank,and to the cleaners, and I have had all I am going to take.

Attention IRS-you get no more money in April. Come find me. It's too late to get you out of my paycheck, but watch what I do to you each April...

Attention political parties. The party is over...you get no money from me, and you are all open game.

Attention America, you are being had and you are losing your heritage, your history, your past, and a future you are already being deprived of.

Attention Politicians. I will do everything in my power to get you fired...can you say term limits and recall?

Attention US Government. You will be forced to give me back my country, or arrest me before I go too far.

Conservatives (and Presidential Candidates especially) shall offer no aid and comfort to the opposition in times of legislative conflict (and ensuing political campaigns).

The refusal to pay federal income taxes. As a future attorney who knows you, I must advise you that this action will almost certainly (eventually) result in the reduction of your interests in staying out of jail.

That said, "I'm not sayin' haystack should have withheld his taxes... but I understand."

You WILL be jailed over tax issues in America if you are a regular Joe, BUT people like Harry Reid can have his land deals, Nasty Nan Pelosi can put in earmarks so she can make millions more off real estate investments and it's all fine so long as they pay their taxes!

Yet we are about to have 12,000,000 illegal aliens forced upon us without our consent. 12,000,000 people that are estimated to cost we taxpayers an estimated 50,000,000,000 more than they will ever pay in tax revenue to the government.

But, as RON PAUL, says, you cannot do away with it until redefine the role of government and bring us back to scope of government that the founders intended.

Disclaimer: I stand behind no one in my contempt for the IRS and the current system of taxation OR the over-reaching of the federal government.

That said, as streiff noted income tax is one of those amendment thingys, which by definition makes it a "constitutional duty".

And with respect to Dr. Paul, please provide a list of the legislation he's authored and gotten passed by both chambers (oh heck, just one chamber) that would "...redefine the role of government and bring us back to scope of government that the founders intended."

I look forward to the list.

I once read that it actually passed without a passing vote by the states, the way it's supposed to work.

this person may be wrong in the assertion since there's no link to back it up. but here goes:

So few Americans today know that prior to 1913, we didn't have an income tax to feed the central bank (FED); the first 1040 was issued in 1913....There's no question the events of 1913 were carefully planned and executed: The Sixteenth and Seventeenth Amendments to the U.S. Constitution were clearly never ratified by the required number of states; fraud was committed when they were announced ratified. The Federal Reserve Act was passed the same year.

Secondly, on Ron Paul, I don't think that gets us anywhere. You know full well he would move to do such things if in the WH.

the process is that amendments must be passed by 2/3 of each house of congress and ratified by 3/4 of the states.

The 16th Amendment was passed by Congress in 1909. In 1909 there were 46 states (3/4 = 35 states) and when it was ratified in 1913 there were 48 states (3/4 = 36 states).

New Mexico became the 36th state to ratify the amendment on Feb 3, 1913. 38 states eventually ratified the 16th Amendment.

theory of "libertarianism" that even Libertarians would blanch at. It's generally promoted by "minutemen" types. The issue has been litigated through SCOTUS (sorry, I don't have cites) but these folks never give up. Every couple of years somebody gets sold a bill of goods and the IRS scoops them up. Most recent one I can think of was a pro athlete last year.

that the spirit of '76 is alive and well with my fellow Americans? This is very uplifting to hear people willing to go through the same trials and tribulations that a group of rabble-rousers from a couple a hundred years went through with the hopes of securing liberty. Revolutions take many forms. No suggestion of armed insurrection was intended or implied. But, consider the response to this:

"I call for an immediate boycott of all things provided by illegal immigrants"...does that help you envision an impassioned plea to our Government to stop the pillaging of our laws and our liberties?

And fighting, too, is not always in the form of "armed"..and yes, I am angry, and yes, I meant what I said.

I can resist through a fairly lengthy list of legal protests...but, really now, will signing a flawed internet protest on yet another short lived dotcom get America serious about how we are being taken by the government?

About refusing to do your taxes, etc that caught my eye the most. The reponse about using more legal methods of revolt eases my mind tremendously and I wish you best of luck.

Myself, I shall continue with my plan to change government the only way I know how without resorting to insurrection. I would like to ask you to participate, as well. Run for office. Get other people you know to run for office. People who aren't politicians.
