My First "Official" FredHead Party

A piece of the Fred Thompson campaign is using so-called House Parties as a means to gather folks together, build unity, make contacts, and scheme and conspire on ways to get this man elected.

So, a few of us Austin FredHeads got together Thursday 9/6 (called the "Austin Fred Fest"), to wallow and reflect on the news we've all been waiting for. And, the name of the venue for this way excellent Fredventure? Why, "Freddie's Place" of course,

And... the irony was not lost on any of us. In fact, despite the fact that the location is in the heart of the liberal bastion of South Austin...we may just make this our meeting headquarters! Works for us...come on down sometime-the food is good, the atmosphere great, and the folks all around us have no clue that "Fredhead" is NOT our mistaking the name of a once-famed "rock band"...

You know, throwing a few back in "enemy" territory can be loads of fun...and the tee-shirts just ooze with hilarity...I mean, it's not like we sat around and talked about the Leno appearance, or the webcast to his supporters Fred gave us so we could clearly see his place in this campaign, what he brings to the hopes of a "few good Conservatives" about the future...and just where, exactly, we see Fred's GOP opponents in the general scheme of things.

OK-I lied...and, yeah, the whining from the media and the GOP candidates that went to NH and cried over Fred's decision to go his own way and hang with Leno for a while got brought up too.

Wish we had a place around here called Fred's. I'll have to open one!

Conservatives (and Presidential Candidates especially) shall offer no aid and comfort to the opposition in times of legislative conflict (and ensuing political campaigns).

The excitement about Fred's candidacy is great. Thanks for sharing the details of your party. Wish we could have attended.

I gotta find a place like that (or make one) here in DFW.

It's war -- so when can we start shooting back at the enemy Democrats?

They eat first. The servers get to pick over whats left. Just ask the fuzzy guy.

That t-shirt is really offensive. I'll probably be taking some remedial action after the election.

Woof!!
