MLK's words twisted

"I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content ot their character"
That was our nation then. and the feeling is light years behind us. Character on the other hand as MLK said is fair game whether you're black white or green. Makes not difference.
Obama: too arrogant, fire fanner, uses reverse psychology. He knows everything apparently! “”Typical teenager” he hasn’t grown up yet. (“hire a teenager he knows everything” Elect Obama he knows everything” Right!
And we are trusting him with the country? Nonsense! I’m switching! And I hope you will too.
I’m switching parties! Why, Because I can. That's what I love about my country. The choice is mine.
And for the first time I, as a democrat felt that:
That choice was just for appearance sake.
That the movers and the shakers made that decision for me
That I was too "ignorant" to know better
That my vote was not important
That as a matter of fact my vote is not even necessary
That from now on decisions could be made with or without my vote
That who am I to even question authority
That if I do I will be labeled racist
That my neighbor I shared a piece of pie with yesterday is looking at me cockeyed today.
Americans were hated in the world long before Bush came along (and I know this because I’ve been living in Europe since before 9/11) I can write a book about it
War is costly, yes, but ignorance and inexperience cost more
Our soldiers fought in a war unlike any other war were the enemy used children and women as shields, and blow themselves to pieces anywhere any place anytime. Our soldiers were trained to face soldiers and with that they could have come home in six days.
Whenever I write down the word soldier I cry. I can’t help it.
Having them come home with honor and dignity regardless of the cockamamie war they fought is a matter of duty for each and every one of us to bring to completion. (this point I believe the old wise man is right about) I believe he will do it the right way this time.
Having them come home leaving their boots behind will signal and give precedent that we are a nation that does not know how to defend democracy and therefore we should take the back seat to nations like Europeans who walked away when we needed them most. ( we forgive but let’s not forget).
Europeans are jubilant at Bush’s departure and salivating at Obama’s nomination.
British Press:
From “cowboy administration” Is it going to be half of one or half of the other! To:“Oh! No he is not exactly a piñata you’re exaggerating a bit. We shall see! Heavens! As it were. Pronounced as it wha!
The bloody cowboy is at it again!
How many of us know, care to know, or even are interested in world politics in this depth? Very few.
They, on the other hand are not watching closely, they are obsessed. Makes one wonder.
why is it today and everyday since the campaigning started and especialy after Obama's nomination, the European TV programs such as TF1, France
, Arte, papers, magazines, are laying thick with documentaries and movies about African Americans, about the sixties and the seventies. Roots M-F on Arte. check it out. 2 Mohamed Ali's movies. Jack Johnson the Figher in the 30s, Malcon X etc, etc. check it out. Google it. Arte, France2 etc.
Today right now june 21st channel 5's showing Documentary on the Kennedy brothers. Why now all of a sudden? it's like almost every night like I'm reliving the sixties and the seventies all over again! In French!
I would not be surprised that right now the obama Campaign people are canvassing the world introducing Obama and just as they are showing these programs here they are all over the world. His intentions are to revolutionize the WORLD!!
I 'm telling you! We are not even nearly prepared for what is coming. Look at his attitude he does not even care. It's not going to be your "typical" election. His got the world on his side and his got America cornered to submission. "'Vote or don't bother I don't give a sh*t attitude. "The world wants me." That is his attitude.
His intention and Michele's is to embarrass the US. We need to let the people know that we are on to him and that the constitution is not dead yet. BUT it is in intensive care though. We can't sit back and let this take place and replace our constitutional rights. Call me stupid, but what Globalization mean anyway? Isn't the election taking place in 50 states? Or is it in 58 as Obama stated. Freudian slip 50 + Africa, Europe and Asia. Oh! Ok I got it.
thanks I'm new @ this. It took nearly 2 weeks to get to this stage.. Did my text get chopped off?

From your screen name, you appear to be a Hillary vote who is disenchanted with the Democratic party having selected Barack as its candidate. We have had a number of such voters stop by at RedState who are taking another look at John McCain.
Feel welcome to browse or even to comment, though I'd urge you as a newbie to ask questions about positive reasons to vote for McCain rather than focus on what you don't like about Obama.
The latter is "preaching to the choir"; we're well aware of his flaws and don't need more negativity. Leave the attacks to the editors/moderator and long-term users. This is especially needful as as new user because we frequently face infestations of what we call internet trolls or mobys who come here with over-the-top criticisms of Obama in order to make RedState and Republicans appear to be racist, etc. (For example, comments about Obama being a secret Muslim will quickly get you banned (i.e. permanent withdrawal of user privileges) by Moe Lane or one of the other moderators.
Good idea to learn the names of the editors and moderators since you definitely want to listen to them if they give you instruction regarding behavior on the site.
Besides, this site's goal is to advance conservative principles and Republican party nominees who will help advance conservatism, and it really is for more useful (since life is short) to focus on ideas for gaining votes and discussion correct positions on current issues.

As a Hillary supporter, I suggest that you check out Susannah's latest post How to Reach Out to Clinton Voters Using Specific Issues and also the comments to this diary: Hi--I'm a Clinton Democrat Now Supporting McCain.
You might also look at my latest blog on this topic as well: The other half of the Hillary voter equation: character and other intangibles
I think you'll find some kindred spirits among 07rescue and susannah.
Hi civil truth
Thanks for the advice and "thank you for the show of support"( hey pretent it's in bold). I will check out the links you added. Disenchanted is a mild term for me.I already know two of my posts went to heaven.Well I hope they will be read there. I can assure you that I am the pet peeve of trolls.
Since I am living abroad and I have first hand knowlege regarding the mood of real people here not journalists. i thought I wanted to share those views.
I stated facts in all my posts yes, and opinion. I did not made billigerent comments.
I hope the moderators can distinguish between writing from the heart and paid bloggers.
In rereading my last response to you, I realize that I phrased something that might have been misleading: I wrote...
As a Hillary supporter, I suggest that you check out...
How I meant to phrase this was along these lines...
Seeing that you are a Hillary supporter, I suggest that you check out...
The distinction is that my original sentence led off with a dangling prepositional phrase which inadvertently implies that I view myself as another Hillary supporter. That happens not to be correct, and it would be dishonest to give you the wrong impression about myself.
Indeed, I have favored all the major Republican nominees (Ron Paul doesn't count) in this primary over Hillary and the other Democratic nominees.
However, what I can honestly can say is in the last month of her campaign, Hillary did show a different face, one that I had not seen before, that did give me a new degree of respect for her, though not enough to have swung my vote to her from McCain, all other things being equal.
I have no other amendment to what I wrote before.

It's really too hard to read that much text stuck together. If go into edit mode, you could add some blank lines with your Enter key to make more distinct paragraphs.
And Rightly So!
