Fox News Out-foxes Itself

Am I the only one who is finding at least a little joy in the fact that Fox has outfoxed itself with the rise of former Governor Huckabee in the polls? Don't get me wrong, I'm still whole-heartedly a Fredhead yet I'm thrilled that Fox News has egg on it's face at the moment.
While I know some of you don't agree with me, I still assert that Fox has been banging it's drum for former Mayor Giuliani. I believe, and I know I'm not the only one, that Fox has purposely been boosting Huckabee in the hopes that he would give Mitt a run for his money (yeah, I said it) in the Iowa Caucus. I believe their motivation was to help Rudy by using Huckabee to knock-out Mitt. Though I don't believe for a minute that it even dawned on Fox that they were about to open Pandora's box by all of their hawking for the Huckster.
I've been noticing the past couple of days that Fox is suddenly reporting bad news about Huckabee. They of course are doing it with the pretense that they are simply reporting what Huckabee is having to face now that he's a front-runner. As a matter of fact, they were so desperate today that they even showed a film clip of former Senator Thompson, whom they had previously been ignoring ever since his slam against Fox. You see the clip they were showing was one of Fred talking about Huckabee's not-so Conservative record. Imagine that?
While I could pull the lever for Huckabee, unlike Rudy, I am still hoping and praying that my man wins the Republican nomination. So for once, I'm hoping Fox is successful in it's scalawag ways by knocking the Huck down more than a few points in the polls. Oh how I wish the vast majority of the electorate would actually learn for themselves where each candidate stands on the issues.
Still, I can't help but think about the old saying, what goes around comes around. The all-powerful Fox News Channel must be shaking in their boots about what Ailes them.

Thanks for your help. Please let me know if I did it wrong, if you are still around. This is the first forum where I've ever attempted html codes.
"all-powerful Fox News Channel must be shaking in their boots about what Ailes them". Since they're fretting about opening Pandora's box, I figure they could use a product they keep advertising for "Head On - Apply directly to the forehead. Head On - Apply directly to the forehead."
I'm not sure if that's a local or national ad.
Now that was funny. Usually I get little jokes like that but that one went right over my head. I guess I was having a blonde moment which is pretty bad for someone who isn't even blonde. lol
Yes, they have those commercials here.
I'm glad you caught my silly Ailes reference.
Sean and Bill seem to favor Rudy. Huck was refusing to to go on Hannitys' show today over something Sean said.
You can see by their body language they're not happy about it.
I didn't personally hear the show, but I've seen numerous posts on another blog site that he did, in fact, call into to Sean's show and spent several minutes discussing details of the Dumond case.

My previous post referred to Hannity's radio show.
I understand Huck is booked Monday night for Hannity's TV show on Fox. He's also booked for Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. Rumor has it they are going to go after red-blood. It will be interesting to see how Huck does.
Rumor has it Fred's camp believes he's got two weeks to make an impact on his positive numbers or drive Huck's down before the Christmas spirit keeps him from doing so for good.

Oh but I thought I was the only one who could see through the blonde bombshells on Fox to actually notice their slant. lol
Leave it to ilja to point out the obvious that of course is big news here on the net. The Wizard of Oz has nothing on me.
That's a joke, btw.
I watch all the cable news channels and I agree that Fox is in the bag for Rudy. But, CNN seems pro-Hillary and MSNBC appears to like Obama. Does anyone disagree? If I was Huckabee, I would ignore Hannity because Hannity is a creep and sycophant.

I think FOX is much more pro-US on the war on terrorism as a underlying theme and less concerned about the social conservative side of things. That's why Rudy comes up so well, that and neo-cons like Fred Barnes and Bill Crystal. Britt Hume who is actually the Editor in chief comes off as a fiscalcon and a strong military guy and I suspect he sets the tone of the network behind the scenes.
Hannity is about the least intellectual guy on FOX, and the least able to actually articulate why he believes the stuff he spouts. Interestingly Hannity never appears on the shows with the real intellectuals who actually think this stuff through and does not just parrot the latest line coming out of the RNC. I usually change the channel when he comes on.
