I am sure a lot of fellow Redstaters participated in the From the Frontlines tele-thon last night. I did not see anyone post on it and felt I must. This event for our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan was a BLOWOUT!!!! The initial desire was for 500K it broke 1 million dollars.

There were over 3000 people on UStream at one time and there were 29 trackbacks to the event....think about that...29 blog sites tracking back and participating in helping our troops.
General Petraus and the White House called in and the dizzying aray of conservative radio stars and groups such as Move America Forward and Gathering of Eagles....these are the people on the ground that have kept those of us who care engaged and NEVER let our Military Men and Women forget that they are loved and most of all RESPECTED back home.
This post is to thank Melanie Morgan and Michelle Malkin for being on the Front Lines of honor and dignity for out troops....and to thank each and every person who bought something to send to our troops....they allow us to sit in our homes, offices and coffee shops and blog and they allow us and our families a measure of FREEDOM that is like no other around the world....and finally this is a BIG old THANK YOU to the best damn military in the world!!!!

According to NT though, it's not true. I talked to him (work related) while he was at the airport yesterday and he said it's not him. I'm just waiting for speciallist to clear it up.

We are the Majority...We will be doing this sort of thing quite often in the future..coming together on the Military mission and Politics...the nutroots have nothing on us
