Robin Weirauch: Darling of the DC Liberals, Fringe Activist Groups, and Special Interest Groups

In case you haven't heard, a fierce special election is raging in Ohio's 5th district between Republican State Legislator Bob Latta and Robin Weirauch. The Weirauch campaign and liberal bloggers have been busy canvassing the web with liberal propaganda. Kos and the DCCC have resorted to camouflaging Weirauch's extremely liberal positions by attacking Latta's campaign of limited government, lower taxes, and traditional conservative values. Just so you know the real Robin Weirauch, I have gathered some articles that you may find interesting. Her liberal positions on everything ranging from abortion to illegal immigration all point to the fact, that if elected, she will join the ranks of the most liberal in Congress.
- Robin Weirauch Won't Bury the Death Tax - Demonstrating once again that she is a tax and spend liberal, Robin Weirauch, the Democrat candidate for Ohio's Fifth Congressional District, admitted in a candidate questionnaire that she would not support a permanent repeal of the onerous death tax.
- Weirauch Stashes Cash from Washington's Most Liberal Democrats, Left-Wing Activists - In the biggest indicator yet of Robin Weirauch's out of touch stance on the issues, the Democrat candidate for Ohio's Fifth Congressional District is filling her campaign coffers with cash from left-wing extremist activists and some of the most liberal Democrats in Washington: among them, San Francisco Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and Congressman Charlie Rangel, the man behind the Democrats' "Mother of All Tax Hikes."
- New Ads in Ohio Special Election - "The National Republican Congressional Committee responded to the DCCCad buy in the upcoming special election in Ohio’s Fifth District with an ad buy of their own. An add that hits on themes of economic anxiety (higher gas prices, health care costs)."
Don't let Weirauch's spin team create the realms of this debate. Let’s make their records do the talking, records that are drastically different. Weirauch is the darling of DC liberals, fringe activist groups, and special interests. She is wrong on the issues and clearly wrong for Ohio. We need your help in getting the message out on the real Robin Weirauch: the one who is lax on illegal immigration, the one who supports drastically higher taxes, and the one who supports government run healthcare that covers illegal immigrants. If you haven't taken the time yet, please take a quick trip over to SlateCard and make a donation to Bob's campaign. If you live in Ohio then you can do something even better - you can volunteer with the campaign to canvass the area, call voters, and make sure Ohio's 5th district is not complacent and understands the ramifications of this election.
No matter how you do the math, Weirauch is the wrong answer for Ohio and the Congress. We have a chance to send a real Republican to Congress or we can send another "Do-Nothing" legislator who takes her marching orders from groups like MoveOn. Americans are trying to grapple with serious problems and Weirauch's only answer is to veer to the left. You have an opportunity to frame this debate, so let's make it happen. If Robin Weirauch's extreme agenda for Ohio and the Congress can't energize you to take action, then maybe Bob Latta himself can:
