H & C & Obama = Bad

Obama looked and sounded bad on H&C tonight. He seemed not to be able to get his words out. Major did a good job asking "direct" questions. I can only assume that the bloggers will now start searching the video's of the Rev's anti-American tapes, looking for Obama and Michelle. I bet they find one or two with them sitting in the front row. If that is the case..bye bye Obama.
20 yrs of knowing someone - you pretty much know where they stand (socially). What about the "water cooler" or the "coffee pot" talk? Was ther any anti-American chat, I hate America, we caused 9/11 talk ..did that ever come up? I doubt Obama is ready to say YES. Obama is in deep boop..boop.
Side question to every one - All churches have Elders and/or Deacons. The Elders and Deacons reachly run a church. My question is = this anit-American speech was it approved by the Elders of the church? This troubles me that this looks and sounds much deeper than the Rev. The IRS should have a field day with this case, along with HRC campaign. Mr. Dean now must ask his "super's"..what do we do NOW?
I've sat in many churches and NEVER, I mean NEVER, heard any pastor/preacher/Rev/Bishop say things that have come close to what has come out of Rev Wright mouth. I mean NEVER.
that finds it.
I can see the siren now....
I caught parts of all the major interviews Obama gave and I would agree that he appeared progressively more uneasy as they went along.
Oberdog over on MSNBC had a hard time removing his nose from Obama's sphincter long enough to do the interview but it was not the love fest one normally expects.
AC over on CNN was the most respectful of interviewers, almost apologizing for having to having to bother emperor Obama with this trivial matter, and leading into and out of the story with knowfacts about how Republicans have been associated with **gasp** Bob Jones University ***gasp** and other religious leaders who take hard stances. The memo from the Obama campaign on how to spin this issue must have been faxed over to CNN in time to prepare for the interview.
Major G over on Fox was played it respectful but strait, not pushy in a Shawn H. or Bill O. way, more like you'd expect from Hume. But it looked like Obama by the time Fox got to him was pretty worn out by the questions. Must have been more than 8 total questions asked combined by all the MSM outlets or something.
The premise that Obama looked and sounded tired in my view is true and also shows how a candidate who has no real experience but gives a good speech will not be able to hold up well in the bear pit that is a national election against a real opponent like John McCain.

even if the drive by's don't due their due dilligence on this, the blogosphere and drudge will. Up until now the attacks on Obama were weak (his middle name is hussein and so on) but this one is huge. Most American's attend some kind of church (black, white and hispanic), and I don't think they can relate to a pastor like this. They also cant relate to going to a church for 20 years and not knowhing that this kind of hate was being spewed. This also immediatly links up with Michelle's comments about finally being proud of her country.
I know this seems trival and almost too good to be true, but he is right, if they can just find one sermon which is spewing this kind of hate, that he or Michelle attended its game over, in fact the Dems might even turn on him and give the nomination to Hillary.
particular day. He has been there for 20 years and knows what Wright is all about and knew the church honored Farrakhan. Obama calls the racist, "minister" farrakhan.
Its over. Dead man walking.
The super delagates are turning...

about this today and has done a litte research.
Obama is not going to be the next POTUS. He may "hoodwink" the supers, but he will not "bamboozle" the general electorate when things like this surface again. And believe me, they will.
A swipe at evangelicals here-
“But somehow, somewhere along the way, faith stopped being used to bring us together,” Mr. Obama said. “Faith started being used to drive us apart. Faith got hijacked.”
He attributed this partly to “the so-called leaders of the Christian right, who’ve been all too eager to exploit what divides us.” Yet he said that in traveling around the country he had sensed an “awakening” of an interfaith movement of “progressives.”

Honest Question: Is anybody afraid that this will be used to dredge up stuff on Republican candidates who's pastors have said things that are "Anti-Woman" or whatever?
Because I know I've been to churches a number of times that I agree with 90+% of what they say, but they've said some things about the roll of women that I was not comfortable with, nor, frankly, was a majority of the congregation. Still, I didn't leave or protest, and neither did anybody else.
I'm horrified by some of the things he's said, but I think we are stepping into a very dangerous place where we must tread carefully.

Not really. We beat them in places where we are going to beat them anyway. That doesn't mean this could make it almost impossible for someone in a swing district to win if their pastor has ever said something very controversial.
I'm not saying he doesn't deserve criticism, but we need to tread lightly.

America.
The left will try and vain to find any equivalent in McCain's life to Obama's past 20 years.
Did I mention twenty years?

On the front page of Fox tonite, no less.
"John McCain’s campaign is pushing back on recent allegations that controversial Ohio pastor, Rev. Rod Parsley, serves as a “spiritual guide” for the GOP presidential nominee.
....According to the campaign, McCain met Parsley for the first time three weeks ago, when the pastor served as an introductory speaker at a February 26 rally in Cincinnati.
McCain praised most of the leaders in attendance, saying of Parsley: “I am very honored today to have one of the truly great leaders in America, a moral compass, a spiritual guide…thank you for your leadership and your guidance. I am very grateful you are here.” (Coincidence note: This was the same event of the infamous Bill Cunningham remarks)"
As you can see if you read the whole article, they are trying to compare this to Obama's 20 year approval of Jeremiah's hate speech. Not even close.

For any pastor to say "G*dD*mn anything/anyone" in church is really pushing the limits of decency. I've never heard such language in a church and it's difficult to imagine when it would be appropriate. I doubt many [or even any] pastors said "G*dD*mn Osama bin Laden" or "G*dD*mn Iran" or "G*dD*mn Hitler"
But saying "G*dD*mn America" repeatedly - no no no no! That is really over the top and disgraceful.
I hope they have fun digging around. They will never discover anything about McCain's religious affiliations that could possibly trump what Obama's pastor said. Maybe the Dems can find someone really close to McCain who condemned gays, or something, but it won't do the kind of damage they'd like. That offends a much smaller group of people than statements like "G-D America!" which offends people from all walks of life. I think most Americans love their country, even if they're sometimes displeased with the way things are going. Most moderate Democrats like their country, too. Go check out some of the Left-wing blogs if you want to see some outrage over this. The Clinton people are furious (though that might just be because they're looking for ways to tear down Obama before it's too late).
In any case, no matter what they try to dredge up, they'll never be able to link McCain to a bigot who he's been friends with for 20 years, who married him, and who baptized his kids. There's no comparison, there's no way. We're on pretty safe ground here, I think.

And it's no surprise he wouldn't let Hannity interview him. Too bad.
He said he wasn't present during any anti-American blaspheming. All we need is one clip, just one, that proves him a liar, and it's the end of Barry's presidential bid. Surely someone can find one by November.
By the way, has Ann Coulter weighed in on this yet? I'm dying to hear what she has to say.
