As the run up to 'The Da Vinci Code' enters the homestretch, the more shrill the voices from around the world become to censor this movie. Important church figures in Lebanon, the Phillipines , India, the UAE) Singapore (no URL here sorry), even (here in the U.S.) have banned or want to ban this movie.

I don't know how many of you are familiar with the Civilizaion video game series but it's a really great way to pass the time. It's on its fourth go round. I've been playing it since it was a board game.

There are many things you can create. From the Colossus of Rhoades to space flight. All comes with little icons to identify them. The invention that stuck out was the Internet. It's Icon? I picture of AL GORE!

I laughed out loud when I saw this. Nothing like a little jab at the 'Net's 'inventor' to make your day

Fox news and several wires are reporting that Majority Leader Delay will be stepping down permanently from his post.

I've mixed feelings on this matter. The perception of wrong doing is something to be avoided at all costs by our leaders but when the other side goes out of their way to make you look bad, no matter what, then you run into another problem altogether.

I was outraged when Lott was run out of town on a rail for innocous comments made to a friend on his birthday and people like Byrd get to go their merry way. Same here with Delay. He's being hounded by a partisan hack, the way I see it. But, for the good of the Party, I think he's done the right thing.

Being new to blogging and now throroughly addicted, I have hit every site ever referenced on every blog at one point or another in the last 2 months. MY very first stop was here at RS after it was referenced in a news article I was reading and then Googling it. I've expanded from there, of course and found dozens of different sites, many of which are now clumped into a favorites folder. RS is different than any other blog I've found and I like it the best out of the conservative blogs. You can post thoughful comments, write your own diary, engage in real debate and have a good time while at it.
