From the New York Times, April 30, 2007:

Asked if he and Mr. Wright had patched up their differences, Mr. Obama said: "Those are conversations between me and my pastor."

Mr. Wright, who has long prided himself on criticizing the establishment, said he knew that he may not play well in Mr. Obama’s audition for the ultimate establishment job.

As someone who approves of many, though not all, of Senator McCain's positions, I think too many people get too angry about a limited number of items (which, admittedly, may be important to them, to the conservative cause, or to the nation). But while McCain is a maverick on a handful of issues, it is error to call him a "moderate." He is a conservative, with maverick tendencies.

Let's walk through a handful of items together.
