Fellow Redstaters....we talk, we lament, we wring our hands, we shake our heads in disbelief...we blog ..and we wait for someone,or something to happen to flush out the fools and cowards who now head both houses of govt.
Our President (whom I admire and respect)and his administration haven't a clue about public relations .Yes the 5th column, known as the msm , have wrapped up public opinion in a little bow, but for god sake where are our elected Republican collective voices? Where is the righteous anger and indignation? Who will immediately fashion a strategy to compel Pelosi and Reid to resign!!
I'm a novelist..with 30+ pubished novels.I've taught writing in Colleges...but most of the time I am hesitant to post. I'm intimidated by the sheer power of thought and emotion that come through my laptop from Redstate's contributors. I am waiting for action, a drive, a strategy...something right now to galvanize the silent seething long suffering patriotic Americans...
The REGULAR CONTRIBUTORS on these pages are the Apex of Conservative and patriotic intelligentsia...Ladies and Gentlemen, Moe, Streif, Gamecock, Academic El. and so many others..step forward! Lead and we shall follow...

It's an eyeopener, perhaps Savage is right when he calls Liberalism a mental illness... I had to laugh at the folks who don't believe academia is loaded with card carrying liberals. Go out in the real world they say...here's a real world story..
A young russian immigrant named Mark, a hero lieutenant who won the Bronze Star in Iraq (he shot down 2 missiles aimed at our troop's camp saving a minimum of 3000 soldiers )wanted to continue his education to be a lawyer. His grades at Rutgers undergrad were B+..His LSATS were on the cusp..just off by a point.. He applied to 35 law schools..all 35 turned him down....I learned that several young men in his school with lower lsats and grade averages were accepted to these same schools. A prominent law firm took the case and eventually he got accepted..only ater the firm amassed evidence that the reason he was originally denied was because he served in the US Army..It's the reverse GI bill..you lose points today if you're a patriotic veteran!!

As Graham Green wrote In the Last angry Man..."Don't let the ba****ds get you down!"

Well, I am going to start this morning by mailing my Senators and drawing attention to Jeff Emanuel's post of ME headlines, Hooah Mac's and smagars. I want my Senators to make these points to Senator Lieberman who has the power and it seems to me should also have the incentive to oust Reid for his irresponsible leadership.

that could lead to our gains in 08.

time. Every word they speak converts people into conservatives.
But, yes, I have been trying to ignite righteous anger twoards the left and its vehicle the Democratic Party since I left it in 2000.
Too many conservatives and esp elected Republicans in DC are too timid to take on the MSM machine within months of having defeateda liberal by advocating conservative policies.
They win at the real polls and then cowe at between election sample polls.
Plus, I get lambasted by some when i try my best to highlight the morally bankrupt left.
