Chris Matthews, holder of the opinion that New Englanders didn't vote for Obama because they hate black people, is under attack by Media Matters, holders of whatever opinion is currently uppermost in George Soros' noggin. The charge?
Using overtly sexist language, [Chris Matthews] has referred to Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-NY) as a "she devil" and compared her to a "strip-teaser." He has called her "witchy" and likened her voice to "fingernails on a blackboard." He has referred to men who support her as "castratos in the eunuch chorus." He has suggested Clinton is not "a convincing mom" and said "modern women" like Clinton are unacceptable to "Midwest guys." He has called her "Madame Defarge" and "Nurse Ratched."

There were also some bits about women governors, Pelosi, Hoyer, and castration - but, really, it was all about paying back Matthews for getting too upset over the way his nice, clean canonization of Senator Obama got rudely interrupted by objective reality.

seriously does it get any better than this and O'Donnell on Edwards and Jesse Jackson Jr taking down the Clinton's....and "the beast" crying...Kucinich getting NH to handcount the votes...every day is a new gift from the liberal's in a circular shooting match...I can hardly wait to get up tomorrow and see what else the stooges have in store for me. Thanks Democrat Party.

You reap what you sow, and if we can stick to Real Reagan Conservatism then we can watch the other party implode, but if we nominate the Huckster or McShamnesty then we will be the party that implodes, and if that is the case we will deserve it.

Once again, I am reminded of the danger that the contemporary Left's version of politics poses to our society.
Is there any doubt that once they're done with their night of long knives that the Left will turn its venom on whoever emerges as the GOP nominee?
Is there any doubt that once the elections are behind us, the unholy alliance on the Left of Media, Money, and Politicians will be using those same tactics and guns on every single person on the Right?
I wish there were some easy way (where's Staple's on this?) to restore civility to politics, to dial it down a notch on both sides and go at it on the merits. Otherwise, with the Left now actively advocating criminalization of politics (see, Cheney; see, Plamegate; see, Scooter Libby), how many more steps before we get to actual gunplay by crazies on either side of the divide?
God, help us all become sane, and right soon.

Not to toot my own horn, but I just wrote a blog that discussed this as a factor in Obama's loss. And, yes, I agree that Chris Matthews (among others) sounded like a sexist pig regarding Hillary Clinton.
