I know (F) posting poll (L) results isn't (O) everyone's f(A)vorite ac(T)tivity here, but g(I)ven Redstate's fou(N)ders' ties to (G)eorgia, I thought this parti(C)ula(R) p(O)ll i(S) intere(S)ting.

Huck has a 22 point lead over Rudy.

Strategic Vision Poll, taken 12/17-18. MOE +/- 4%

Huck 36%
Rudy 14%
Mitt/McCain 12%
Fred 10%

Huckabashing hasn't yet hit Georgia, apparently, while next-door-neighbor Fred continues to languish.

NOTE: The first sentence contains a subliminal message. Just tie together the letters in parentheses.

Ugh by Mahler

I'm ashamed of my home state.

Fred Thompson has more major endoresments in Georgia than the other candidates combined. It's all about timing and not polls. There is a huge Thompson organization in the state with county heads in each.

State Sen. Chip Rogers is the Executive Director of the Thompson campaign in Georgia.

Rally up Georgia conservatives, we go to South Carolina on Jan. 19th!!

The FairTax is huge in Georgia, and from what I have heard Huck has been a head in GA for several weeks.

...a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right...

....not to this extent and certainly not in the midst of the barrage of Huckattacks of the past few weeks.

Straight from the Horse's Mouth

I have read Neil Boortz and Congressman Linder's book and am about sold on the Fair Tax plan in the long run. I was hoping that Huckabee would be more than an advocate but a crusader of sorts... instead he is a pisspoor spokesman. He's actually hurting it's cause.

Frankly, I don't believe Huckabee is a believer. He doesn't defend it's principals during debates. I suspect he believes FairTax.org is just a good organization with thousands of supporters to tap for grassroots support. I trust Huck with the Fair Tax like I do a snakeoil salesman.

'Nuf said.

It will not matter much after the early states, the numbers will change depending on who does better later.

And great news on the poll, too.

Who cares? I'm sure Rudy was ahead in Georgia too at one point...

The barrage of attacks came right on the heel of Gov Huckabee's surge about 3 weeks ago!

All I see is B-O-O-K-S-H-E-L-F.

Is Georgia a Feb. 5th state, or is this not particularly important to the primary?

Yep by Finrod

Georgia's in on the fun in what's being called Super Duper Tuesday (by wikipedia at least).
