Al Qaeda number two man mimics Democrat talking points by calling Bush "liar" and a "failure."

I dont know what else I could add to this report. It is really a sad day when the second in command of America's mortal terrorist enemy, Zawahri, repeats nearly word for word what the Bob Woodward, the New York Times, the Washington press corpes and Democrats are saying about Iraq, the war on terror and Bush.
"Bush you are a lying failure and a charlatan. It has been 3 and-a-half years (since the arrests)...What happened to us? We have gained more strength and we are more insistant on martyrdom," the Egyptian militant leader said.
If this is not a wake up call, I dont know what is.

Update: It gets better. Check out this quote from Zawahri:
"Can't you be honest at least once in your life and admit that you are a deceitful liar who intentionally deceived your nation when you drove them to war in Iraq under the pretext of the presence of nuclear weapons there and under the pretext of al Qaeda's connections with Saddam Hussein, following which evidence proved that you intentionally lied and misled?" al-Zawahiri asks.
Now. Where have I seen this said before? Gateway Pundit has more.
The President's supporters are already wide awake. There just aren't enough of you to matter anymore.
Your response shows how serious a problem this nation has. We should all be for defeating this guy. The kind of rhetoric he is spewing should be a wake up call to all Americans.
We hear a lot about how going into Iraq has caused more jihadist, however have you thought for one moment that just maybe one reason some have joined the fight is because they sense a lack of resolve?
what makes you think that Liberlrising cares about the well being of the nation? Defeating Bush is the only thing that matters.

If you're seeing shades of gray, it's because you're not looking close enough to see the black and white dots.
I see it as a truly ironic, incredibly hilarious insight on how dysfunctional American liberals have become:

Sorry, but if the record of the administration leads to certain conclusions it matters not if the truth is spoken by a disillusioned conservative, an enraged liberal or even a mocking scum-of-the earth-terrorist-who-should-be-getting-it-on-with-virgins-in-heaven-by-now-if-we-had-not-been-distracted-by-Iran. Irag is a serious situation that requires serious effort. Comparing the enemy with deomocrats tells me your head is not yet in this "game".
I mean why don't we just send all our troops after these guys because we know that the real threat comes from cave produced videos and not from jihadists in Iraq or Britain.

1.4 million
The number of active duty men and women in the U.S. armed forces as of Jan. 31, 2003.
660K+ in the Army/MarineCorps branches combined....
One would think we could muster more than 20K troops to chase, capture, and destroy the men responsible for 9/11.
Cripes....the Army still has over 50K troops in stationed in Germany.
It would be quite ridiculous to have 1000 troops much less 10,000 troops roaming the earth for one man or two men. Our troops in Afghanistan are not all looking for bin laden. You fight enemies with troops. You secure areas. And yes, if they get intel, they pass it on to special forces to go after high value targets. The trrops put al qaida out of business in a safe haven nation state.
The picture Bill Clinton painted is silly. He had good intell 9 times to get bin laden when he still thought he could safely stick his head up in the world. And Bill didn't deploy 100 troops.
Charge of the Light Brigade comes to mind...

If two people or two groups of people share a similar thought or two, it doesn't automatically make them buddies or comrades in arms. There are conservative Republicans who have publically stated going into Iraq was a bad idea.
I would guess if you were able to poll the literate non-American world, you would find the majority think President Bush made a mistake by invading Iraq. Does that make them friends of the Democrats? Does that make them members of Al Queda? Nope. They just share the same opinion on one subject.
You're trying to link the unlinkable.
...to share the same objectives and talking points as our enemy?
The Democrats and the "non-American world" can obsess all they want about whether it was a mistake to go into Iraq. Zawahri is doing more than saying that "going into Iraq was a bad idea." He is saying that Bush is "a lying failure" who "intentionally deceived your people". His words are an identical reflection of what Democrat leaders have been screeching at every opportunity.
Doesn't it make you question why Zawahri (and the "tough & smart" Murthacrats) want to destroy the President's credibility? AQ lacks the military power to win. Their only hope is to persevere and destroy our resolve to do the same. Destroying the credibility of a President who is committed to winning is Zawahri's best hope.
How is it a good idea to hand Zawahri a victory by withdrawing from Iraq? How will our weakness make us stronger? How will our defeat do anything but increase support for AQ throughout the Middle East?
Is it really worth it for the short-term politically expedient gratification of proving Bush was wrong?

I, a liberal along with all other liberals, care about the truth and reducing the presence of violent muslim fundamentalism until it no longer is a threat to anyone. I thought that was the objective of the right as well, not the terrorists.
Bin Laden himself has stated that they want to bleed us dry economically (just as we did to the soviets). They want us in Iraq! We are playing right into their hands. And worse, we have no rational plan for overcoming their tactics. All they have to do is say some little wise-crack about us and the right replies with "Uh uh!" We will lose this WAR if we are so stupid as to play "opposites" to whatever they enenmy does or says.
Any other arguement that liberal community-at-large shares any other objectives with the terrorists and you are just proving my earlier point that you aren't really thinking about this danger correctly, you're just playing politics.
this down. We bled the Soviets dry. The Soviets had a socialist economy and was a communist dictatorship the people hated.
Bin Laden also stated, before Bush put al qaida out of business in their safe haven nation state and e-located him to a cave, that he came after us because he saw Clinton as representing the american people and saw a paper tiger in Bill Clinton and the Dem party, that he mistook for the majority of Americans that would always be in power.
Do you take that quote from Laden Gospel as Gospel or still insist on appeasement as the way?
Bin Laden wants us dead. With us in NY and DC, he was able to kill thousands and lose only 19 or so.
Saddam was in the process of islamicization in Iraq with his Fedayeen run bu Usay and Qasay and harboring yasim that was in the 1993 WETC plot and some Abus and paying suicide n=bombers and training hijackers.
UBL was goinna boogie to Baghdad according to Richard Cklarke.
i don't see UBL boogieing there now. i do see multiple thousands of islamists dying and freedom loving Iraqis doing g a lot of the killing.
the war is taking place on the ground. Not on MSM.

...that you and your liberal (what happened to "progressive"?) friends want to convert the US to Islam and kill the infidels who resist. I was speaking of the objective of tearing down the President's credibility and re-deploying from Iraq to Okinawa.
AQ knows the certain consequences if they can achieve both of these objectives. As usual, consequences are beyond the grasp of most libs. They are, perhaps unwittingly, doing AQ's bidding because they are blinded by immediate political advantage without regard for the catastrophic harm that would result from our defeat in Iraq.

It is hard not to be redundant. Competitive politics stops at the waters edge. Allow partisanship to trump the national interest, and you become a toy in the hands of would-be tyrants and stone killers. Why would this be a surprise?

The last tape by Ghadan was basically a LLL laundry list of why the US is the real evil in the world. In that video he openly asked for alliance and joining with the LLL elements in this nation.
I have said it before and will say it again. The LLL's base hates everything the US stands for. I have long said the day will soon come that the LLL base radicalized and outraged at their failure will go the way of ELF or others and actually put force to their "revolution". You go to Kos and they often have commenter that could easily work with terrorist as long as they got to kill some hated Republicans.
This is our Future and this is why Zawahiri thinks he can lure in our LLL's.

I just hope that when this day finally comes we will have some Leadership that WILL DARE TO "question their patriotism". So far we have sadly lacking any such leadership even in the face of some rather outright acts of Sedition of the WOT. Hell we still can’t get a leader with the sack to actually pursue Leakers of Classified info in a time of war. I have yet to see any heads roll, one pitiful "resignation" which pisses me off because I just have a serious pet peeve about political "resigning" when they get caught while any common guy would be thrown under the freaking jail. Errrrr.
i have a collection of their greatest hits here.
al Qaeda seems harmless compared to DKos members.

as a bad thing, or a good thing if you are GWB?
I must say that after reading Lawrence Wright's book I have an all new appreciation for the evil that Zawahiri represents.
