"Let's get ready to rumble". This phrase comes to mind after reading the following article by Chris Cillizza of the Washington Post entitled, "Since 2004, Relationship Between The Two Vietnam Veterans Has Gradually Deteriorated".

By pennpatriot
I'm sure I am not the only conservative frustrated by President Bush's State Of The Union Address last tonight. The entire address forced me to reflect upon how this man destroyed the Republican Party and set back the conservative agenda for decades to come.
As I watched the speech, I took sometime to reflect on how much hope that I had for his Presidency. George W Bush inspired me to the point where I volunteered for both of his campaigns in 2000 and 2004.

Posted at 11:57am on Jan. 21, 2008 Democratic Party momentum, I just don't get it.
By pennpatriot
Has anyone noticed how the main stream media continues to gleefully cover the surge in democratic voter turnout? What really ticks me off is the way the coverage throws it in your face. Ha, Ha, Republicans another surge in democratic voter turnout.
I think the turnout numbers is the source of Chris Matthew's gleaming personality these days. Finally, the world makes sense to him.
Personally, I just don't get it. Considering that this Democratic led Congress has accomplished very little over the past two years and their poll numbers remain in the teens, I just simply don't understand what all the excitement is about on the other side of the aisle.

Posted at 11:04pm on Jan. 20, 2008 Why Thompson Supporters Should Support McCain
By pennpatriot
So many conservatives blindly believe that Fred Thompson's Senate record is more conservative to that of John McCain's? Even to the point that they just flat out refuse to accept the many similarities.
These are the same Thompson supporters who love criticizing John McCain for his perceived conservative missteps and are currently threatening to leave the GOP if McCain wins the nomination.
However a deeper look at both candidates seems to indicate that when it comes to advancing the conservative agenda Thompson and McCain are not far apart.

Posted at 3:10pm on Jan. 20, 2008 Some Friendly Advice To The RedState Management [Closed]
By pennpatriot
I've read a lot posts and comments on this website over the past week that personally attack individuals that saw Fred Thompson candidacy for what it was. Although, we all can agree that he is a great conservative voice.
It is generally perceived that the RedState management seemed to step in anytime a non Fred supporter may have crossed the line. While Fred supporters were totally free to bash non Fred supporters even to the point of name calling and challenging their conservative principles.(Shameful)

Posted at 3:39am on Jan. 20, 2008 A Little Reminder To All Yee Fredheads
By pennpatriot

This visual pretty much sums up Fred's post election speech tonight.
It also may be a great visual for all you Fredheads implying you are willing to sit out the General Election.
Nothing like advancing the conservative agenda by allowing Hillary to be president.
McCain won one of the most conservative states in the union. Must be a lot of voters in South Carolina that really don't understand what conservatism really is how about it Fredheads.

Posted at 1:02am on Jan. 20, 2008 McCain is now the frontrunner
By pennpatriot
I've spent much of the past week debating over whether to support John McCain or Fred Thompson in the upcoming Pennsylvania primary on April 25th. I've even had some heated battles with many Fred Heads on the viability of Thompson as a candidate. But it looks like tonight that the voters of South Carolina have pretty much solved my deli ma for me and may have just closed the door on Fred's campaign.

Posted at 4:39am on Jan. 16, 2008 Good News Keeps Rolling Out Of South Carolina For Thompson
By pennpatriot
I know this sounds weird, but it is truly amazing what you can find on Google. Rolling Stones is reporting that Thompson is currently second in South Carolina. This is great news and gives some validity to the fact that Thompson is surging in South Carolina.
Here’s where this leaves us: Mitt’s still got money — and at this point may be the only candidate with the resources to properly compete in the February 5th national primary.

[Hi, there. RedState management here, illustrating what happened the last time things didn't go exactly pennpatriot's way. This picture will serve as a reminder to pennpatriot that if he ever deletes one of his diaries again, we will grant his wish and terminate his account so that he can't do that in the future. By pennpatriot
Dear RedState
I am truly an undecided voter at this point in the race. I'm leaning towards McCain and Thompson. However, I question whether or not Fred Thompson has the personality and/or leadership qualities to lead the conservative movement.
I don't claim to be a blog expert. I'm just trying to make an educated decision on the matter. Yesterday in my post on Thompson many of you gave me tons of information. It all looks great.

Posted at 1:21am on Jul. 31, 2007 A don't get well soon wish for Chief Justice Roberts from The Left
By pennpatriot
For those of you like myself who are worried about the current destructive nature of the political discourse in our country this post will not surprise you to say the least.
Today, Chief Justice Roberts had a seizure at his summer home in Maine. The seizure caused a fall in which he "experienced minor scrapes" according to a spokesperson for the court.
Virtually every mainstream media outlet picked up on the story. Apparently, Chief Justice Roberts had a similar incident 14 years ago. Although doctors can't identify what caused the seizure, they did ensure us that Chief Justice Roberts has "fully recovered" and had undergone a "thorough neurological examination".

Posted at 8:22am on Apr. 19, 2007 Democratic Party Hypocrisy Running Wild In Washington
By pennpatriot
The democratic Congressional leadership's level of hypocrisy demonstrated by their legislative actions in the first 100 days in power is staggering. First, they make a campaign promise to do away with out of control pork spending. Then they tie a date for withdrawal from Iraq to an emergency war funding bill that is packed full of pork.
Simply, put they bribed members of their own party to support a pullout date in Iraq. What happened to principles? Our soldiers fighting in Iraq deserve better than this.

All Americans are deeply saddened by today's tragic events on the campus of Virginia Tech. After watching the mainstream news coverage after work, I just couldn't help praying for the victim's families and loved ones. May God's grace comfort them during this very difficult time.
