New Poll in South Carolina shows Huckabee / Romney in Dead Heat
Columbia, South Carolina, December 19, 2007 (IMNS & Politisite.com) -- A new Rasmussen Poll has Governor Huckabee and Governor Romney in a statistical dead heat with both candidates at 23% from the last poll taken December 3rd.
The Romney campaign has been advertising heavily throughout South Carolina with negative ads directed towards Huckabee's record. Another organization, ClubforGrowth.net has spent 200,000 dollars in South Carolina running ads entitled “United,” the ad asks people to call Mike Huckabee and challenge him on his tax policy as Governor. When you go to the site and view the taxes he increased, you will find mostly "sin" type taxes like cigarettes and beer. The ads appear to be effecting his numbers as Huckabee is down 2 percentage points while Romney has gained 5.

By politisite
With the recent statement by a Clinton insider of Obama's drug use, I am looking for any credible, verifiable, and cross checked evidence that Hillary Clinton used drugs. Obama made it clear in his book and recent discussions that he had used drugs in the past. Since the Clinton Campaign is beginning to get desperate as her expanse from Obama has closed, the campaign is dropping bombs then apologizing for the disclosures. This is a very old technique. Obama is now winning in Iowa and only one point below her in New Hampshire.

CHUCK'S FOR HUCK
Chuck Norris shows support for Mike Huckabee
By Albert N. Milliron
ST. PETERSBURG, Florida, November 28, 2007 1957 (UTC) IMNS & Politisite.com) --On a stormy night, in St. Petersburg, Florida, the long awaited CNN YouTube Republican debate is about to begin. The VIPs and Candidates arrived one hour ago from their various hotels and villas around the Tampa Bay area. Familiar faces from all around the news world appeared one by one. One, Carl Cameron, Chief Political Correspondent from Fox News looked like he had a thousand foot or more restraining order as his tent and crew were far off in front of the Progress Energy Arts Center away from most other media. I was able to speak to Carl for a few minutes. Carl is very respected in political news circles as most knowledgeable on the candidates. I usually don't interview news folks but he is an exception to the rule as one could learn a great deal from him. Carl has access granted only to the top tear professionals. The writer, a former Public Relations Chair of our political party, decided to ask the hard questions. "Carl, Which candidate serves the best food"? Carl grinned, "I don't eat with the Candidates". Well the tough question gone. I really thought we could gain insight on which candidate wooed folks in with food. If you are on a diet forget going to Debates, even the news folks get feed well. CNN / YouTube get kudos for the best food here in St. Pete as well as in Charleston the last debate I attended. That aside, the debate about to begin, I noticed in the front row, Chuck Norris, who recently cut a video in support of second Tear Gov. Mike Huckabee of Arkansas.

By politisite
Albert N. Milliron-Tuesday, July 24th 2007 (IMNS & Politisite.com) Columbia, SC- This writer really enjoyed the format of the debate. the big winners in the debate were those who submitted questions. This was probably as close to a direct democracy where debates are concerned. The problem still exists, in that, CNN picked the questions to be presented to the Candidates. It would have been better for the questions to be chosen by ordinary citizens.

Where was the outrage with liberal cases?
Tuesday, March 6, 2007 2030 UTC By Albert N. Milliron (Columbia) (IMNS)-- Lewis "Scooter" Libby, a former top aide to Vice President Dick Cheney, was convicted Tuesday of four counts of obstructing justice, lying and perjury during an investigation tied to the Iraq war. The Defense team plans on an appeal.
While the writer does not condone obstruction of justice, Perjury, and lying to prosecutor, I do see the possibility of an appeal due to jury questions presented to the judge that appeared that they were confused as to the definition of the offenses they deliberated on. The Defense team plans on an appeal based upon some of the issues outlined here.

Posted at 3:10pm on Feb. 22, 2007 The way I see it today: Where are the candidates and how will they line up?
By politisite
Way before political blogs, I was writing Politisite and the Columbia County Republican Insight. I started the site in 1997. Things were new back then. I think blogs are making a difference actually. Folks are really looking at them almost as much as poll data now. Its real-time information on whatever proceeds from the mouth of a politician.
After Seeing Sen. Obama, it rang of the democratic mantra, "Medicare, Medicaid, education, and the environment." With a twist of Iraq since last presidential election cycle. Sounds like an old tune played by another band. He is afraid of media questions and only gave an interview to WIS 10 News. He allowed for no questions from the audience.

Star-kist, headquartered in Speaker Pelosi's district in San Francisco processes large amounts of tuna in American Samoa. Apparently, 75 percent of the island is employed by Star-Kist. American Samoa is the One territory exempted from legislation passed by the House that will raise the minimum wage over time from $5.15 hour to $7.25. The reach of that law extends even to the islands of the Northern Marinas, but not to American Samoa, where Nancy Pelosi's giant constituent will be able to keep paying its workers $5.15 an hour.
