By Ralph Kettell
Yesterday, Tom Allen was exposed by As Maine Goes for the most disingenous campaign maneuver to date in the entire 2008 election cycle (http://www.asmainegoes.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=54519). At a press conference held earlier this week, Allen introduced a "random" young Maine couple who were supportive of the first time homebuyer bill that he was sponsoring in Congress.
Apparently, the young man speaking at the press conference was no other than Mike Cuzzi, Tom Allen's campaign manager in 2006. The young woman, Heather Quinn, was no stranger to Allen either. She had served as his Finance Director for his Senate campaign and also had been Mike Michaud's campaign manager in 2006.

Posted at 1:29pm on Apr. 4, 2008 Maine Superdelegate for sale: Is Tom Allen Clinton's next Judas?
By Ralph Kettell
AsMaineGoes (link - http://tinyurl.com/yrsh6g ) is reporting that FEC reports show Maine Dem Senate candidate Tom Allen receiving $10,000 from Hope Fund, Barack Obama's PAC, while Hillary Clinton's HillPac has yet to throw funding Allen's way in this race. I don't mean to be cynical, but come on. $10,000 to an ostensible Clinton superdelegate? Nothing says 'loyalty' in Dem circles like a big fat check, and the story of Obama peeling off superdelegates with cold hard cash seems to have spread to the Pine Tree State.

Maine Democrat Tom Allen's quest to unseat incumbent Senator Susan
Collins has run aground already. It seems the people of Maine aren't
too excited about his little issue with missing votes.
The AP ran a story (link -

) that featured Allen whining about the criticism he was taking from
the Collins camp over missed votes. Allen gets smacked by his own
