McCain, Romney, and other endorsements

It's early, but that hasn't stopped the early endorsements from rolling in for McCain and Romney. I'll try to keep this up-to-date with the latest Senate and Governor endorsements. (Sorry, the House is just too big, but you can get a taste of what's going on there here.)

McCain: 7; 2
Collins, Graham, Kyl, Lott, Smith, Snowe, Thune; Huntsman, Pawlenty.

Romney: 3; 1
Bennett, Craig, DeMint; Blunt.

Brownback: 1; 0
Roberts.

No endorsement: 35; 19
Alexander, Allard, Bond, Bunning, Burr, Chambliss, Coburn, Cochran, Coleman, Corker, Cornyn, Crapo, Dole, Domenici, Ensign, Enzi, Grassley, Gregg, Hatch, Hutchison, Inhofe, Isakson, Lugar, Martinez, McConnell, Murkowski, Sessions, Shelby, Specter, Stevens, Sununu, Thomas, Vitter, Voinovich, Warner; Barbour, Carcieri, Crist, Daniels, Douglas, Fletcher, Gibbons, Heineman, Hoeven, Lingle, Otter, Palin, Perdue, Perry, Rell, Riley, Rounds, Sanford, Schwarzenegger.

I knew your senate numbers did not add up, but it took a bit to figure out why. Two corrections are needed: (1) Lott is listed under both McCain and No endorsement and (2) there are currently 42, not 43 senators listed under No endorsement (presumably, once Lott is removed, the correct number is 41).

A total of 48 is correct, since there are 49 GOP Senators, and one of them is McCain.

for the input. I thought I'd miss something with all those numbers.

I also excluded Brownback and Hagel, because they're both theoretically running. So it should only be 46 Senators + the three running.
