By Repair Man Jack
When The Reverend knew the mike was live, he had the following to say about his friend, Senator Obama.
"My support for Senator Obama's campaign is wide, deep and unequivocal," he said in his statement. "I cherish this redemptive and historical moment."
The average American would have to be off testing missile systems on Kwajalein Island to not know what Jesse Jackson had to say when he thought the mike was dead. While this isn’t Jesse’s first bad experience with non-off-the record commentary, it was gratuitous and over-the top like a bad Stallone movie.

By Repair Man Jack
The short answer would be about 550 Metric Tons of Yellowcake.
It looks like he also failed to find any conclusive evidence that the Executive Branch of the US government engaged in an active conspiracy to falsely claim that Saddam Hussein was seeking to buy uranium. If there were 550 metric tons of the stuff to quietly remove, and if Iraq is not exactly a hot bed of uranium mining and refinement, Hussein had to have procured said Uranium from somewhere. In other words, Hussein did exactly what Colin Powell announced that the Iraqi despot was doing.

Vote for him, Greedy Konservative, you must.
It amuses me to no end the extent that the Kucinich Left will comingle fantasy and the real world. It goes far beyond the problems that some conservatives, such as John Miller, have had with being Teenage half-Orcs.

Kudos to Ralph Peters. He brings us the seven things you won’t hear about Iraq from our trusted guardians of all that is true over at CBS News. Peters leads off his list of seven lies being told about Iraq with the following.
Whopper No. 1: America is less safe today than it was on Sept. 10, 2001.

By Repair Man Jack
When William Shakespeare wrote his ironic verse about hanging the lawyers, he hadn’t met the likes of Rep. James Fagan (D-Mass). Had he heard what State Rep. Fagan had to say for himself regarding how he would defend people accused of raping children, The Bard would have considered hanging far too kind a way to end a malicious and hateful existence.
Fagan rose to debate a bill that would have imposed long mandatory sentences on anyone convicted of raping children in The Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Fagan showed the world how Democrats are the party of compassion. He spoke out on how to fix whiney, little raped children but good below.

We have it on high from a noted authority. Those mean and nasty Republican Country Clubs won’t be inviting Barak Obama to join them on the links. Perhaps there just hasn’t been enough Arugula in his diet. Not according to Klein; he offers us the real reason below.

The RedState reader bored enough to follow my blog on a constant basis will notice that I’ve spoken critically about Columbia University on more than one occasion. I ripped them here, and here for inviting Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to address their department of International Relations. I also laid into them here for the behavior of Dr. Madonna Constantine, one of their tenured professors.

By Repair Man Jack
Let me be the first to defend the good name and honor of one Winnie the Pooh. He is indeed smarter than the average bear. According to my two-year old son, this is no empty slogan. So mighty is the wisdom of Pooh, it now even informs the philosophy of Barak Obama military advisor and former Navy Secretary Richard Danzig.
The Honorable Mr. Danzig offered us the following observations about my little boy’s favorite story book character and stuffed animal model.

When the South African government practiced the vile policy of Apartheid, many people naturally treated them with the disgust reserved for a moral pariah. Anyone opposing this regime was granted a blanket of legitimacy, regardless of their own unsavory connections. This blanket amnesty extended to even the least commendable friends of South African leaders like Desmond Tuto and Nelson Mandela. This regrettably included the execrable Robert Mugabe who has ruined Zimbabwe and doesn’t seem to care how badly his people continue to suffer.

By Repair Man Jack
At one point in his career, Doug Kmiec may have been a worthy professor of law, whose instincts were based on sound judgment and impeccable logic. Then the poor man took a flyer on Barak Obama. Having read the logical contortions Kmiec finds himself forced into while justifying Barak Obama’s position on abortion, I find the man more qualified to win The World Twister Championship.
He starts his latest effort by making us wonder why anyone, as a practicing Catholic, would care what the idiot behind the pulpit was saying during a sermon.

By Repair Man Jack
The House of Representatives have just passed a budget that gives us our first good look at “Hope and Change.” According to The Las Vegas Journal Review, this budget advocates a base level of expenditure on government agencies greater than $1 Trillion. The LVJR offers a stark opinion on both the short-term and long-term impacts of this budget.

By Repair Man Jack
On the map, the Great State of Alaska lies far abroad from the rest of the nation. In our minds, it is often far abroad from our daily concerns. However, on a balmy, 60-degree Alaska day in August, America’s piece of The Arctic Circle could become ground zero for the Conservative campaign to reclaim the wayward GOP.
Sitting Congressman, Don Young, exemplifies the type of Republican who lost both The Senate, The House of Representatives in 2006. He rakes in the pork, wallows in the privilege, and provides the Pelosi-crats a bought-off and docile minority in the House. He is also a perfect lightning-rod for the polarization of liberal discontent. He costs the GOP seats in lands far afield from the Frozen North.

By Repair Man Jack
Not all environmentalists are evil. Some truly believe in what they do and genuinely feel that Anthropogenic Global Warming is one of the greatest threats to human existence to ever emerge. Once I get over my misgivings that this concern is colossally overblown by some and pathetically manipulated by others, I can see why the people at Climate Progress, are seething at their “Progressive” Senators.

By Repair Man Jack
Hillary Clinton has received her just desserts. It lacked the condign glory that would attend her getting Mondaled by about 450 Electoral Votes on a happy, beer-soaked Tuesday Night in November. However, the witch appears dead and I’ll gladly take it. She ran a deceitful campaign, based on insipid, mawkish stupidity, and died a well-earned death.
She will try something alien to her very core and will attempt a gracious concession to Senator Barak Obama. However, Hillary will attach strings. One of those may very well be her desire to be made Vice President.

By Repair Man Jack
Promoted by Erick.
When some organizers for the Primary Campaign of Barak Obama in Oregon dropped several rented Porta-Potties in the middle of a memorial for fallen police officers, they made a statement. They deny this to the hilt, but I am convinced just as vehemently that these Porta-Potties didn’t get put where they were put as a result of unfortunate random number generation. Barak Obama’s political movement discourages deep and profound respect for decency, patriotism and all accepted social norms.
If this Porta-Potty incident were to have happened to Democratic Congressman Skelton of Missouri, who has been on the House Armed Services Committee for as long as I’ve been alive, it would be asynchronous. Thus, probably not the deliberate smuttiness that it truly was; coming from the likes of Barak Obama. Given that it happened in the campaign of the guy whose campaign staff in Texas had the giant Che Guevara banner on their wall, it becomes part of a trend.
This trend should not surprise anyone who remembers his stated views on why he stopped wearing a US flag pin on his lapel.
