By Reuben
Tuft University found the authors of the The Primary Source, the journal of conservative thought at Tufts, guilty of harassment and creation of a hostile environment resulting in sanctions against the publication. According to former Editor-in-Chief Douglas Kingman, “condemns the ruling as a direct assault on the freedom of political expression and speech at Tufts.”
I got wind of this through the Americas Future Foundation podcast. I think this is an important issue as students right to free speech should never be limited any where unless it truly is harmful to other, i.e. a false bomb threat in a school publication. However posting opinionated pieces on subjects like affirmative action, should never be stopped.

Posted at 9:45pm on May 20, 2007 What are the presidential candidates saying about Immigration?
By Reuben
Rudy Giuliani
“Rudy’s top priority and main objective is to ensure our borders are secure and to stop potential terrorists and criminals from coming in. The recent Fort Dix plot is a stark reminder that the threat of terrorism has made immigration an important matter of national security. We need to know who is coming in and who is going out of this country if we are going to deal with those who are here illegally.”

Posted at 2:25am on May 17, 2007 Rudy Giuliani Blogger Conference Call
By Reuben
Thanks to an anonymous tip I was able to be on a Conference Call with Rudy Giuliani, let me tell you it was some thrill
On the debate Giuliani said “it was a much better opportunity” and he liked the format of the Fox News Debate over the MSNBC one. As well he urged Democrats to do a debate on Fox.
On the Senate vote today to cut off troops, and the fact that all the Democratic candidates voted Yes, Giuliani was surprised of the fact that many are changing their position. He said “This is not helpful to achieve what we want in Iraq.” A stable country that is not a hot bed for terrorism. “They don’t get it” he finished and mentioned that in the democratic debate the candidates never used the words terrorism, Islamic Extremism.
