.... dropped, dropped, dropped.

[I think this guy was looking for this, but being a moRon he confused "dropping" with "rising."

We have to give him credit, though - he *was* able to write in complete sentences, which means that he's among the smartest .02% of moRons in the world. Unfortunately, he's still not welcome here. -LHW]

It keeps things interesting. In answer to the poster's question - your chosen candidate. Any other questions?

As a landlord I can tell you that when you kick out the crazies, you'll have fewer people congregating in the parking lot. That's a good thing.

Are you sure about that? What if people simply stop renting? I image their is advertising on this site for a reason. I really don't think the people that are paying the bills for this web site would be happy with losing the opportunity to gain more eyeballs.

Well, I guess that's why you are a landlord, and not a publisher.

RedState happens to be a free resource, so nobody is "renting." On the other hand, it is owned and is a *private* resource, so it can do whatever it wants in terms of membership.

Look at what happened to CNN/YouTube when they allowed a bunch of conspiracy theorists to work their way into the Republican spin room in New Hampshire at St. Anselm. They managed to almost singlehandedly discredit their entire operation, which would have been a real shame, because some of the people at CNN I knew were geniunely surprised and professional and didn't realize they had given press credentials to professional conspiracy theorists out there in support of Ron Paul.

Somehow they let these people in, but at least RedState has been consistent in keeping them in their pond.

In a rare show of true bipartisan spirit, the sane people with sharply differing views have all rejected the Paulies and their friends in the 9/11 Conspiracy Theory Movement.

Frankly you guys buried yourselves by sending Jason Bermas to New Hampshire. If anyone is to blame for your failure, it's him.

doesn't this chart show daily reach continuing to increase solidly and having a big decline as Christmas approached- when even political-blog-addicted internet geeks have to turn the computer off and spend time with their families?

I think that increasing trend in the chart is pretty impressive and let's see where it pops back to the first week of January.

Congratulations Redstate on a great year.

Congratulations on a good year? The numbers are where they were last January. Look at the graph.

No, the only decline has been in the past few days, where both show a sharp drop at the end of December. We've lost a lot of readers. Its simple as that.

This we?

that web traffic on the Dungeons & Dragons website has also been through the roof since we threw the Paultards out.

I can't wait until I see some episode of "To Catch a Predator" where some dude walks in wearing a Ron Paul shirt.

I think they'd more go for one of those gloomy vampire games.

The surge started in September. I was fronted in September.

I hate to imagine how much higher the traffic would be if I were still confined to the diaries, heh.

Redstate stays mostly consistent overall with some spikes. Dailypaul is consistently on an upward trend.

Also, Dailypaul passes Redstate on an unusually high spike for Redstate--which implies to me that Paul supporters artificially raised Redstate's traffic above what it would have normally been before leaving the site.

We're not losing general conservatives, we're losing Paul supporters that we only had for a little while anyway.

Check the sitemeter, we're on pace to double our traffic for last December.

The chart he posted grossly misrepresented the actual site traffic.

with the fascinating gameplay theme of projecting a fantasy world into the reality of American politics. World of Warcraft was also facing a slide but stemmed the loss by inventing another Ron Paul straw poll hosted by a bunch of rogue night elves.

Ronulans invade Warcraft:

On New Year's Day a group of Paul followers are planning a march from Ironforge to Stormwind on the Whisperwind server to show support for their favorite candidate. The march will begin at 8:30 PM. Depending on the route they take, this could be an extremely short march (Ironforge to train tunnel to Stormwind) or an extremely long and humorous one as dozens of Ron Paul supporters sporting newbie Gnome and Dwarf characters die in droves trying to cross the Burning Steppes.

So your saying that repeating something three times REALLY ups the site hit counters?

ie. dropped, dropped, dropped or Ron Paul, Ron Paul, Ron Paul

Amazing this Internet thingy.
