Posted at 3:46pm on Mar. 27, 2008 Joe Klein seems to think nominating Al Gore might work
By sickofobama
I could never see the GOP choosing the nominee over the will of the people but with Democrats, this goes to the core of who they are -- the superdelegates are liberal elites taht need to keep the "stupid" people in their party in check. While Gore is a terrible campaigner he will have more appeal to white males, which is whom Obama and Clinton are having a lot of trouble with in the polls. And, if Obama gets his braindead supporters behind Gore, it's not out of the question that this could work.

Posted at 5:01pm on Mar. 20, 2008 John Zogby, on Hannity Radio Show, talked of rumors that Al Gore will take Obama's delegates
By sickofobama
Promoted from blogs, with a notation: this must be the single silliest suggestion that we have seen so far from the Democratic Party on how to solve their primary problem. I mean. Really. They want to take the nomination away from the first female / African-American mainstream candidate for President, and give it to an old white guy?

Um, thanks? - Moe Lane
John Zogby, the pollster who runs Zogby International, said today on the Hannity Radio Program that there are rumors that top ranking Democrats are talking about having Obama give his delegates to Al Gore. He said Obama would have to offer these delegates since he's in the lead and the thinking seems to be that Gore will have more appeal to white male voters and that Gore will likely be able to hold on to the support of Clinton supporters since these are core Democratic voters. He said that Hillary and Obama would be given either the VP position, high-level Cabinet positions, or the Senate Majority position or something along those lines in order to make their voters happy.
Zogby's polling is very good but his verbal predictions have been way off sometimes (like with the 2004 election). Scott Rasmussen, also on the show, seemed a bit skeptical that it would work given the historic nature of this race of having the first black or first female President. This may be true because Zogby, as far as I know, has a lot of connections to the Democratic Party and either way, it seems like the Democratic Party is not that concerned with disenfranchising some Democratic voters anyway. He said that if this battle b/n Obama and Hillary goes on, which it probably will, that this is the one thing that can save the party. It sounds crazy but the GOP needs to keep their eyes open for this one.

Posted at 5:55pm on Mar. 18, 2008 Libertarians should take note that Obama now claims to be able to tackle race in US
By sickofobama
Libertarians -- and I'm libertarian on many issues -- believe that government can barely do what it's supposed to do, and I think they're right. With today's speech, aren't any of his libertarian-leaning supporters ( know many Paul supporters jumped on his wagon) worried that he's bitten off much, much more than he chew.
This junior Senator who has not even completed his first term in office and has spent much of that first term campaigning is now not only going to lead one of the biggest expansions of the federal government, act as an international panacea, and bring hope and unity to America, but he is also going to solve a race problem that has plagued this nation since its inception, even though he can't help his own church. I guess he will walk on water soon and part the seas.

Posted at 1:15am on Mar. 18, 2008 NYT lead article reports Obama now says "God bless America" - what a phony
By sickofobama
On nyt.com, the lead article states that Obama is now, in a break from previous speeches, ending with "God bless America." What a phony. And, why wasn't he saying this before? I guess for the same reasons he loves Jeremiah Wright, for the same reasons he won't wear an American flag lapel, for the same reasons his wife isn't proud of this "mean" country, and for the same reason he disparages capitalism in America.

Posted at 4:58pm on Mar. 17, 2008 Obama shows uber arrogance by blatantly lying to America
By sickofobama
Barack Obama is not fit to run this country, policy issues aside and lack of experience aside, because:
1) He chooses to align himself with, and still defend, a hate-mongering, anti-American, racist pastor that stirs the most destructive emotions in the African-American community; and,
2) He flat out lied about an issue that is important to Americans by claiming he didn't know about what was going in his Church, even though we see on video that the flock loves what Rev. Wrong is saying. Obama has insulted the American people with his arrogance and lies thinking his "charm" will work on us the way it's worked on his completely unobjective supporters. Many of his supporters are college airheads and rich white liberals who are voting for a black man to asuage their guilt at running many of America's most classist and elitist institutions (such as our universities).

Posted at 8:48pm on Feb. 29, 2008 Voters in Ohio don't know Obama has the same positions as Hillary on guns and abortion
By sickofobama
Listen up ya'll -- especially you guys in Ohio and other swing states -- the media is going to be complicit in advertising Obama as a centrist this year. This means we have to start telling our neighbors, friends, and coworkers about how far left Obama is. Put aside your misgivings about McCain.
Today, on the Sean Hannity Radio Show, Zogby found out that Obama was cleaning up among centrists. Obama is planning on scamming the American people into thinking that he's a centrist and as Joe Klein's Time article points out, he's doing a good job at this.

Posted at 2:52pm on Feb. 25, 2008 Patriotism is very important, especially since Obama has no accomplishments!
By sickofobama
To counter what someone wrote on the left wing blogs that "Patriotism is the last refuge of a scroundrel," a quote by Samuel Johnson, I would say that dumb absolute rules like that are the PC tactics that Democrats use to get into office. It's not PC to show reverence for our country and question whether a man who is running for the highest office has the amount of reverence we want? This is a man's who's wife said she has never felt proud of this country (that's what she said CLEARLY), a man who seems to care more about what other nations think of our policies than of what taxpaying Americans think of our own policies, a man who won't put his heart over his chest during the national anthem, and man who wants to invite the President of Iran and Venenzuela to the White House, a man who wants to give driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, a man who claims to want to unite us but rejects symbols of America, a man who is deceiving the American people into thinking he is a centrist!

The left wing blogs are saying the Republicans are up to no good again. Why is it that they always get so sensitive when we talk about love for this great country?

Posted at 5:53am on Feb. 25, 2008 Let's focus on how socialist Obama is
By sickofobama
We need to stop talking about Hillary. She's done, and that's a good thing, but we need to start making good arguments for the success and freedoms of the free market. Obama believes in socialist policies and he would destroy the economic engine that drives this nation, a nation that him and his wife don't think is so great unless he's President. He'd be disastrous President, particularly with R

Posted at 8:18pm on Feb. 22, 2008 Germans see that Obama is full of it, Americans should too
By sickofobama
There is a great article on Spiegel Online -- no friend to the American right -- called "Change You Can't Believe In," by Gabor Steingart and it talks about how this German journalist thinks Obama is full of it. I couldn't agree more. He mentions that Obama's eloquence masks the stupidity of his ideas and how unachievable they are. He talks about the silly hysteria that is part of the Obamania and how gullible his supporters are.
