What Joe Biden would do for a new job

Serial Plagiarist Senator Joe Biden (D-DE) is a bit of an odd-duck. Over the last couple of years, he has resisted the far-left at the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, by refusing to demagogue the Iraq issue. He has generally pushed for responsible changes and a little bit more detail. A National Security Council staffer (translation: Bush White House staffer) has described Biden's interventions to me as "generally helpful."

He even laid into the Democrat's Presidential candidates. For example, he attacked Obama saying, "I don’t recall hearing a word from Barack about a plan or a tactic." He described Hillary Clinton's plan as "nothing but disaster" and "a very bad idea."

Not only that. He praised John McCain, even suggesting that he would be willing to be a running mate of McCain's. Seriously. Watch the video:

Yes, indeed, he said, "I would be honored to run with ... John McCain because the country would be better off." But today, he changes his tune and attacks John McCain. What's going on? Answer after the jump.

You see Joe Biden wants a new job. That's how MSNBC reads it:

Biden is widely considered to be a possible candidate for vice president or Secretary of State in a Democratic administration. While he's been coy publicly about any future plans, today's attack on McCain would will certainly be viewed as a job application.

In 1988 and again this year, he tried to become President. In 1988, he was derailed because he was ... mouthing UK Labour Party leader Neil Kinnock's speeches. In 2007 and 2008, he tried truth telling in the Democratic primary, but ... that didn't seem to be a good strategy.

So what does he do? He abandons his old respect for McCain. In 1988, he was mouthing the words of Neil Kinnock. Today he is mouthing the words of far-leftists like Obama, even though he rejected them just a year ago.

Remember that about Joe Biden next time you see his attacks on John McCain. And Joe, if you want a new job, feel free to resign...

and it's who our former Gov'ner here in NY liked to hang out with in the evenings.

Also, the trouble with Biden and the others is that they refuse to face the fact that Saddam Hussein was in fact building a nuclear bomb.

Maybe I should be more clear.... Could you perhaps be overlooking the possiblity that Biden was simply sabotaging the Republican Primary process? Could it be that Biden's comments were (are) not sincere?
