The Great McCain Story You've Probably Forgotten
Maybe deep down there, the old McCain exists. The one who opposed tax cuts, the one who was against Bush's war blunders, and the maverick who was willing to cross the aisle where no other Republican would. Admittedly, I disagree with McCain on most issues but at least he is one of the few candidates with sanity. He recognizes climate change and opposes torture. He knows war and he knows he is a hawk. Unlike other presidential candidates who attempt to hide their policies, we know what we can expect from a McCain presidency: war. Maybe there is some truth to that Straight Talk Express. However, let us not associate sanity with liberalism or moderation.
