I know that you know that the blog, the message, the troops, and the truth are more important than any recognition that goes to yourself.
But I'm pulling for you, man!

Maybe his fine reporting didn't count as being a blog.
Seriously though, congrats Jeff! Looks like some great company from the ones I recognize.
I second the opinion on Jeff's amazing story about the sniper team in Samarra. It was the best battlefield account I have read since BlackHawk down.
I have read those other blogs, but Jeff is in a class by himself.

You, sir, are a steely-eyed bloggin' man! OORAH!!
Love your work.

We would also like to know your advice for somebody like my daughter, who's going to graduate in two years, advice that you would give a young person.

That American Spectator article was one of the best, if not the best, war reporting I've read since the War in Iraq began. Telling the story of these soldiers to the American people so that we support them and their mission is as important to success as the fighting on the ground. Keep up the excellent work.
Excellently told. Thanks Jeff.

Your latest story is one of the finest pieces of war reporting I have ever read, and I have read many.
I am able to vividly envision the field of battle, sense the danger and feel the emotion. In my humble opinion, that is relatively unrivaled
I will leave it at that.
