Young lady with a baby television spot

I just watched an attractive young woman with a young child on her lap tell Mr. McCain that he couldn't have the child for his hundred years in Iraq.
The only thing that struck me about the spot was why wasn't somebody aware that our country has a volunteer military and if the little boy is going to become a military man he has to ask permision, be approved, tested and then trained.
One would think that his mother might have considered that before the spot ran.
I was mad when i saw that ad. Why is it okay for my son to be in the war, but little stevie can't be. Selfish ad thats what I think. Plus they keep saying the 100 yr. thing which was never said.
