Immigration: Let the seething commence (Hilarious WaPo paragraph)

The first paragraph in this Washington Post story on the failure of "Immigration reform" is a keeper:

"WASHINGTON -- When President Bush's "grand bargain" on immigration fell apart, Jeff Sessions, the Republican senator from Alabama who is named after a pair of famous Confederates, was very proud."

Feel the seething - and rejoice!

That's pathetic! The same could be said about Robert Reich and Lee Hamilton. Heck Robert Byrd was named after a Confederate and joined the Klan. I guess his presence in the Seante proves what a failure Reconstruction really was.

They are at least 20 IQ points below the average and theres not a one of them that doesn't want slavery reinstated. You just have to make allowances for the lesser sort in the country. Noblesse Oblige and all.

"Well, I say there boy, back when I growed up in Chester, Verginya, my teefs were not so gude cuz' I ate two many led paint chips at the elemenary skool."

Now that I live and work in Alexandria, up here in Occupied Virginia, I don't have those problems anymore. People are so brilliant and civilized up here. They are legends in their own minds, er I mean time.

I'm really glad we've got the WaPo to come down down South and Condesc...er I mean show us the error of our homespun ways.

From now on, we'll get great unrelated trivia every time a politician is mentioned:

"Edward Kennedy, who "accidently" killed that girl a while back, supports president Bush's immigration proposal."

"Rudy Giuliani, who announced his divorce on television before alerting his wife (not the one that was his cousin, the journalist one), touted his strength on national security in the last debate."

What fun we could have with this new journalistic tool! Any other suggestions?
