A Fairly Important Note on Diaries

I seem to write too many of these "what not to put in a diary" things.
Ok, here's the deal. About once every year or two, we have a new diary that discusses The Bell Curve or some new bit of news, science, or pop silliness that reflects on it.
Those end now. From now on, any diary discussing genetic theories of intelligence tied to race, ethnic grouping, skin color, or proclivity for butter pecan ice cream is specifically forbidden. When I say "forbidden," I mean, "will be deleted and the user's account deactivated."
I do not believe Charles Murray is a racist. I do not believe that any of the diarists, recent or past, were or are racists. I do not believe anyone commenting in those diaries, or recommending them, is a racist. While I'm at it, I do not believe that studying whether genetic incidents are higher in one group than another -- even if those genetic incidents might have some correlation to intelligence -- is racist per se. But it leads to a whole pit of ugly in short order.
In point of fact, in an ideal world, I think this discussion should be had -- and I say that as someone descended from arguably the lowest-I.Q. white group in human history -- but not on RedState, in this world. In this world, there are other places for this sort of thing; Google them to find them.
This community, this blog, is off-limits to these discussions. On their best days, they invite Steve Sailer-ism. (That's a bad thing.) On their worst days, things get ugly to the point where I have to risk my record for total account tosses in a single day. We are a blog focused on political activism, and simply, the slippery slope that lies beneath this discussion does no credit to anyone sliding down it.
You may think me any number of bad things as a result of this. You may email me to tell me these things, by either hitting my contact form (click on "Thomas" and you'll get where you need to go) or the general contact form. You will have to do it that way, because comments are not enabled on this diary, and comments in the recent spate of diaries are also disabled.
And guys? I'm the soft option here.
