I have spoken to many sources today regarding the upcoming Speaker’s race. A source from Austin let me in that many R’s “pledged to Craddick” will be supporting Pitts this upcoming week.
With the news that McCall will be supporting Chairman Pitts, the chances of a new speaker have drastically increased.
McCall’s endorsement shows that his dissention is not because of a personal quest for power, but ideology.

I am Chairman of the Virginia Teenage Republicans, and I just wanted to invite anyone in the D.C. area to the convention this Saturday at the Prince William County Government Center.

Supervisor Marty Nohe, Candidate for the Eighth Congressional Mark Ellmore, Former Attorney General Candidate Steve Baril, Manassas Councilman Jackson Miller, College Republican Chairman Andrew Lamar, Fairfax School Board Representative Steve Hunt, Delegate Tom Rust, Delegate Chris Saxman, Board Chairman Sean T. Connaughton and featuring The Reverend Pat Robertson.
I can't wait to see the Rev. Robertson he will be speaking at around 1pm.

Sources in Virginia have revealed that former Redskin Darrell Green is in talks to run for Virginia State Senate.
He would run against Democrat Mark Herring, who just won in a special election against a Loudoun County Supervisor, Mick Staton.
