A new set of polls from Quinnipiac gives some credibility to the Clinton campaign's argument that Hillary is the more electable Democrat.

Florida
McCain (R) 45%, Obama (D) 41%
Clinton (D) 48%, McCain (R) 41%
Ohio
McCain (R) 44%, Obama (D) 40%
Clinton (D) 48%, McCain (R) 41%

Pennsylvania
Obama (D) 46%, McCain (R) 40%
Clinton (D) 50%, McCain (R) 37%

No wonder Howard Dean is screaming about scrapping the electoral college.

Because there's a very plausable scenario that Obama might win the popular votes by up to several millions without being able to winn the presidency! Remember George W. Bush beat Kerry by 3% in 2004 and he could very well lose the white house if 20,000(?) votes flipped to Kerry.

Add one more to the list. According to the lastest Reply To ThisUser Info#1

Either something is wrong with my browser or the site. Anyway, you can add Nevada to the list. According to Rasmussen, Hillary leads McCain 46 to 41, but McCain leads Obama 46-40. Nevada is one of the key swing states this election, and it has a history of choosing the winner.

I do expect the polls in Nevada and the other close states to bounce back and forth every few weeks until election day. I don't think they mean too much right now.

Still, it would serve the Democrats right if Hillary were more electable this election.

Not surprise about Nevada. It has a big hispanic population, and Obama does not do well among hispanics. It looks to me NM is moving towards D this cycle, but I won't be surprised it will come home to R with Obama on top.
