As I am sure most of you know, I put up a poll just to see how the Red State Community was looking in candidate support going into the Iowa Caucuses. Well, here is the final results with candidates listed in no particular order.
Rudy Giuliani 44 votes 8.58%
John McCain 59 votes 11.50%
HWMNBN 22 votes 4.29%
Mitt Romney 87 votes 16.96%
Fred Thompson 248 votes 48.34%
Mike Huckabee 39 votes 7.60%
Duncan Hunter 14 votes 2.73%
Total Votes Cast: 513 votes
If there is any interest I will do this again after New Hampshire and South Carolina and see how candidate performance is affecting Red State coalescing around the front runners, or if it is not coalescing. This is a mental exercise for me to see how the dynamic works, but I will only proceed if there is an interest on your part as well.
...not all Ronulons are nut jobs. They may be misguided in my opinion, but they are not all crazy people.

is ahead of Rudy in the poll. From some of the tone of Redstate I think I might have expected Rudy to be ahead of McCain.
The pro-choice thing is a deal breaker for most people, and the anti-gun thing is a deal breaker for most of the rest. I'd still vote for him ahead of Huckabee (#5) and McCain (#4), in my list, though.

Wow, that was lopsided. Glad to see Romney polling 2cd. These are fun, keep'em up. Maybe do a 2cd and 3rd choice poll to see where things fall since Thompson's shelf life is almost up.
Sorry, I couldn't help myself!

The Poll must be rigged. I cry foul.
Thanks Wubbie.
