So I saw that the mayor of Detroit has been indicted on felony charges and I decided to read the article on CNN. Turns out that he was having an affair, or at least exchanging suggestive text messages, with a staffer. Then he lied about it under oath. Now he's been caught, asked to resign, but says he won't do that because he'll never quit on the people of Detroit.
What's missing? I'm sure you all know. Here is the link to CNN for you to read the article and see for yourself.

He doesn't want to be president, he wants to stay at home with his family, taking care of the farm. He had to be drafted to run...
No, I'm actually not referring to FDT - I'm referring to George Washington. Apparently, a requirement to be a good president is not a burning desire to be president.
Just something to think about.

Posted at 1:47pm on Jun. 28, 2007 The Proper Roll of Members of Congress
By youngling
This is my first blog, so bear with me.
It has come to my attention that many people on both the left and the right seem to believe that members of congress are elected to further the goals of their constituents, be that in terms of the war on terror, immigration, stem cell research, gay marriage, or any other political issue, and that when the diverge from that role they should be thrown out on their ear.
